Hi my Bajaj Pulsar 180 dtsi COE is finishing in a month time. I've been out of touch with the 2b bike market. Is there a reliable and fuel efficient 2b bike to recommend please? Appreciate your soonest advise. Thanks!

I just bought a Bajaj pulsar 200 NS after passing my Class 2B earlier this month. When comparing to the YBR that I've ridden during my time at CDC, the Pulsar is more powerful and have a good presence on the roads due to its size. PM me for more info. I can link you to my video on Youtube for my initial ride.

thanks. im considering between pulsar200ns, fz16, cb150. any advise which is better?

you might want to consider ta200 phantom too, it is quite fuel efficient, and it is very reliable, since it's from honda.

But it's fuel injection. It will cost you a bomb if it need repair. YBR 125 still the best. Easy to maintain. Cheap to maintain also. Best fuel saver.

Not sure how to phrase this question cause I don't know what the part is called... But here's my attempt - is the Sniper using the normal gear lever (step up, step down)? Or the kup kind of gear lever (one at front for up gear, one at back for down gear)? Can any bros educate me what the correct terms are, if there are any.

The sniper is using the normal gear.

Where the clutch is at the handle bar.5 speed gear.

The other type you don't have the clutch at the handle bar.just close throttle and change gear.thoes are 4 speed gear.

Spark 135 jupiter 135 both have the two options to choose from.

The new sniper only has manual gear.

Nowadays technology not like last time.. iv even ridin a ktm 350excf fuel injection with no problems at all..

Fuel injection helps to save fuel and gives out better throttle responds.

Ybr125 no power.

Sniper 1 liter of fuel you can travel 46km. That's more then good.

4.7 liters full tank.. 216km power already.

Thanks bro for your detailed reply! I once rode a spark with handle bar clutch and the non-normal gear (for the lack of a better phrasing, lol) and found it pretty difficult to get used to.

Besides fuel consumption & maintenance, probably have to consider if parts are easy to find. If a part must be ordered from another country, it may cost a lot.

Phantoms are great but he seems to be going more for street bikes?

The duke is great but the pulsar200ns is very similar

The normal gear type is just called "manual transmission", while the kupkia type is known as "semi-automatic transmission" or "clutchless transmission"

Hope you've already purchased the bike. I've used pulsar200ns and it was a great bike.

It's not bad but the duke 200 is still somehow better, despite the technical similarities!
