This one was rebuilt and belongs to a friend.

Left hand drive, very weird to drive.

and a bit scary too becos not use to being on the right side and opposing traffic zooming by on your left.

thanks bro...yup fibre.....erm abt $120 for the front lip without install, spray and stickers etc.

 

well , i be driving for at least 3years so have to dress it up in order not to feel bored you see..

well....the price I pay... cant expect much you see....

 

Choose it for its engine only......will stick to it till able to upgrade to two door or turbo etc lor.....

 

else...will drive my Evios for a while....

The Vios although cheap, has one of the better power to weight ratio in her class.

I beg to differ.

Sure Specialc, but no matter how good the power to weight ratio is, the Vios is by no means a "sports" car.

It's a good everyday , pt. to pt car. Reliable and fairly comfortable.

 

Just to put my comments into clearer perspective. even a BMW320 were to be dressed up that way, it will also not be able live up to it.

 

Some cars can zhng fierce fierce and carry it, some cars cannot, that's all.

I doubt the owner mentioned that his is a sports car. So lets not assume.

Anyone can dress up their cars, I have no issues with that, regardless of whether it is a sports car a not. As to whether the car is "able to live up to it", everyone knows. But try not to put fellow forumers down. Just my 2 cents worth as I have seen good drivers in Vios on Sepang, very commendable timing.

78 boi sure didnt say anything about his car being a sports car, very clear. But my opinion is simply that the car cant live up to that kind of fierce dressing up becos it aint a sports car. Again, it has nothing to do with any car or anyone's timing in Sepang or any other circuit. I thought I cleared that by bringing up the BMW example?

 

Much as you request that I try not put fellow forumers down, i request that you

try not to read between any lines and construe any other ideas especially those regarding anyone putting anyone down.

Your opinion counts but mine don't? You can offer your views, so can I. To me, anyone can dress up any car regardless of whether the car can "live up to it" as mentioned by you. So what if it is not a sports car? Does it rally matter? One man's meat is another man's poison. Non sports car dressing up may be your poison, but it is not mine.

 

Some of us are able to afford sports cars. I am no exception having owned many marques, and I am sure you too. But I have never ever made comments about cars not living up to it and dressing up. Cars are expensive here in SG and even if it is a Vios, it can be dressed up nicely.

 

You brought up the Vios, saying it cant really run. I told you the power to weight ratio is good and it is capable of good timing in Sepang. In short, if you still cant understand, the car is not a bad car then lets forget it. To me, it does "live up" despite being a non-sports car.

 

Whatever it is, I have said what I want to say. Period. No point arguing over this.

 

I did not misconstrue anything but your comments were quite "in your face".
