Starting a new thread for 2016!

Enrolled on 12Jan, done prac 0 & lesson 1-4 so far. Planning to go for TTT without practice (is that a gd idea?).

 

and sian... My booking for prac 1 is on 29Jan cos it's fully booked up until the 26th zzz. that is very long!!! Btw, heard tht for prac 1, no matter how gd you are the instructor will confirm fail you and ask you book AGAIN for prac 1... Is tht true... I dont want waste money and time la... esp after wasting $20++ on useless orientation 😕

 

Anyway any other SSDC 2B peeps out there? 😁

Yup. Usually prac 1 will fail a few times. Due to not enough time for the instructor to teach u everything for prac 1. So usually will need to take 2-3 times

wah serious ah... any tips on how to clear lesson 1 ONE time? i really don't think one has to repeat lesson 1... Q waste money dont you think? ☹️

Hard as u also need to depend on others. If other learner also fast u may be able to go other section of lesson of pract 1. But usually min 2 lesson before u can clear prac 1

normally pract 1 would need 2 lessons. but this boils down to the "outer circuit" instructor willing to teach you if you manage to join them from the "inner circuit".

My experience in CDC was that I manage to go out to change gear but the outside instructor did not teach me the proper technique to down gear and I have to repeat lesson because I fail to use the proper technique to down gear..

In SSDC, I think they break into many segments where you learn the biting point, how to stop, how to move forward when queuing etc and then finally up gear and down gear in the outer circuit.

In short I think lesson 1 have part 1 and part 2 unless you have experience in riding then you will clear in 1 lesson

Hais i guess no choice 2 lessons 😢 i got no experience. anw what is biting point? Anyone care to explain to me before my prac?

Just passed TTT, kimak i have to wait till 18Feb for BTT!! I think by then i forget everything alr.

Biting point is the point where u release the clutch till where the bike can move. Diff bike got diff biting point.

normally SSDC practical 1 and 2 will takes 2 to 3 lessons, just be patience....

Don't think you should expect to pass 2B lessons the 1st time. Unless you can already ride. If you can, that's good for you. But if not, it's only normal.

keep us updated...im sure with your confidence you can clear lesson 1 with just one prac.....just to be ahead of the pack and you will clear with flyingggg colours

Yes. They do sell glove but think only those white colour that you see construction worker using type.

No leh never.. They say must go for another practical 1. Apparently you can't cut short practical 1 unless you tell them you got riding experience which i dont. Even if you have riding experience, you may still need to repeat

Oh and does anyone have any shortcuts to booking lessons... i have to wait 2 weeks for each prac lesson leh! wtf is that normal. Next lesson is 11feb. I actually quite free i want to take 3 lessons per wk one...

 

Plus if lessons so infrequent will b very hard to remember and pass the lesson, agreed?
