gd luck... u'll need it... suspensions more or less fooked liao.... it'll cost bout 1.5k to get proper suspensions...

I saw u selling your bike already, so fast?? so how about the voltage meter u have?? want to sell it to me at cheaper price??

My friend just install one at southern, quote him $65 w installation n bracket. Only one colour. Got any other lobang?? thinking of getting the car voltmeter will it be cheaper??

if i can manage to sell off then i sell u the voltmeter cheaper lor..say $25? if u wan i can fix for u also if u wan...but abit unsightly as i tap batt from the rear there then pull wire to the front....

I just change the ngk iridum spark plug, don't know good or not , any comments.

just found out that my bike's carb is not using original kawa needles. think tats the cause of my slightly low mileage and the bike engine stalling after running for some time (always happen at traffic junctions...haiz)

dunno wat needles my mech toking abt.

sumore he told me original kawa 'needles' cost arnd $20 each

which needle is he talking about, float needle?

 

the mechanic from N1 performance in bedok industrial 3 ( near changi hospital). A chinese malaysian i think. he's the main mech there.

he was speculating tat the previous owner change the needles due to carb overflow problem. so no idea which needle he toking abt sia

 

but the mech tuned the carbs for me...now engine nvr stall anymore.........yet

but still i feel uneasy using chiong needles

wats the preferred engine oil and spark plug for zx-4r and how frequent should i change it?

me using normal ngk plugs and motul 5100..........so far so gd

change engine oil every 5 k

full service every 10k

tighten and lube chain (done every 1k)

 

 

full service: (10k)

change engine oil

change engine oil filter

change spark plugs

wash air filter

wash and tune carbs

top up of all fluids (brake, coolant)

tighten and lube chain (done every 1k)

 

plus other things u want to do to improve performance (change brake pads, bleeding of brakes etc).........depends on ure budget. if tight on it, the above mentioned will do just fine

 

anyone care to add? me only 8 mths riding this machine....so still quite a newbie
