maybe the Fly 125 appeals more to ppl who wants a transport bike at the same time dont mind the looks la.

maybe for the old uncles out there...the vespas appeals to the young better.

good reliable piaggio bike. good price for a italian scoot..

Think of this scooter as the modern Skipper but just more updated design and more reliable.

Agree. That was how I percieved it when it was launch overseas.

The pro for this bike is that it have longer wheel base when compared to the first skipper. Thus better stability.

However, I don't understand why not bring in the 150cc one instead?

125cc is just under powered in my opinion.

By the way Brembo, The carburation is via EFI?

I heard there is a 150cc version of the Fly available...but we tried the new 125 engines (ie GTV125), they are in fact smoother and faster then the current LX engine.

The current setup for Fly 125 is still Carb...a 125 EFI is in the pipline but no know time line yet.

brembo..sorry...off topic abit..

but got a qn for u.

why nt u guys bring in the LX150 HyS and the Piaggio X8 HyS?

frm what i understand, its a hybrid. super petrol saver! :D

For the hybrids there are some factors we must understand.

1. it is still in the concept stages.

2. the battery occupies the whole underseat compartment.

3. Prices, i predicted, will be of the same as hybrid cars, expensive. Especially at this stage where hybrid is still considered a revolutionary change.

4. People's mentality, especially Singaporean...we are scare of everything, probably this hybrid thing wont sell here. People still feels petrol driven are safer in term of all factors.

i dun speak for all but generally when i was a new rider, i steer cleared of all bikes that are under 150cc...

i'm not too sure whos the target audience for this bike in singapore.

it doesnt suit the young too much, specification and design wise.

and it doesnt cost too low either to be bought by the old.

morever if people are looking for an ECONOMICAL ride, there are really too many jap cubs that fits the bill...

piaggio parts arent exactly cheap...

I still like the screaming 2T skipper especially the rare 150cc version
