some1 mention that the owner cannot be PR .. issit true?? cos i intend to ask my dad(pr) to be the owner .. my bro as the guarantor .. as i am still in army .. ord next month ... 1 more Question .. do u guys know how many percent of the loan amount i need to down?? pls help

why not u call them and ask? The this will solve your prob liao,becoz if u ask online alot of diff ans. Might as well ask the shop itself so u wont have any mistakes manZ!

First you have to do your home work of knowing what bike you are buying from your friend, if lets say it is a super 4 vtec 1(which year), currently market is taking back for like 4k(eg.) then loaning from hitachi will be around 3-4k, even if you bought the bike for like 6k with many accessories.

 

Understand that you also require payslip to be above 1.8k for any loan cat.

 

-Processing fee(hitachi)-$100

-Document Fee(pleasure)-$180

-LTA Transfer Fee

-GST

-Insurance

 

These are the upfronts that are required for your case. which i forsee a upfront payment of 2k i needed with all the fee and insurance(depending on how old you are) and the rest of the cash needed to upfront.

hey micmasta, is it possible i buy my own insurance at a later date if i loan from pleasure motorsports? so i'll just have to fork out admin fee + transfer fee. anyway can help me check how much would 3rd party insurance for 18year old just passed ride be for aprilia rs125 y2k model. probably FR, FS or FT plate.. thanks

arghh. when i enquired at mah tht time, insurance will be around 1.5k for a 03 rs. don't know how true.. if it's really around 1.5k. i doubt i can find those kind of money to down. it'll help alot of i can get a quote for insurance from them.

EVERYONE OUT THERE!!!

 

Please heed my advise and avoid this shop at all costs!!!

 

1) The woman at the counter is unreasonable and always goes back on her words.

2) Shop charges $1 for everday late, no grace period at all.

3) Everything also wanna threaten with lawyer, $30 for any legal letter

4) Bloody cannot calculate their interest properly!

 

This is my experience i had with the shop. My payday is normally abt 10 days after the installment is due... but everytime i will pay with $10 extra for the late interest. Spoke with the woman at the desk a few times tell her i will pay on payday. Said ok, everymonth on due date she will call and pester. Told her she agreed on 10 days later she started bitching and changing her words around... Threaten with lawyer this and that.

 

Just communicating with this shop already make my blood boil. My last installment couldnt make it down so got a fren to help me pay. I was 8 days late so gave my fren extra 10 to bring down to the shop to pay. End up one bloody man ask for $21 dollars extra....

 

My fren called me up and said i did not give him sufficient money to pay, i asked him to pass the phone to the man... bloody keep insisting he is right... i ask he to calculate infront of me... bloody a$$hole dunno how to count still talk so sialan...

 

Just trust me la... this shop b4 u sign any papers talk sweet here and there... after u sign liao everything change...

 

at the mean time i'm seeking some legal advise on this black shop, gonna make them close down for sure!!! Guys dont be conned!!!

one of the way is to engage another gurantor who has income proof as to assess your application-if via major credit firms-like HongLeong, Hitachi,etc some bike shop does take own loans, so usually their shop name carries the word Trading company. Check it out i think should not be of a problem. Shorter period of time would help u greatly reduce interest....

Yes apparently they don't do reloans anymore, only financing for bikes they are selling themselves.

yup, confirmed. emailed them to ask about reloan for buying bikes from private sellers, and the reply was 'not at the moment'. very fast reply though..
