The exact same thing happened to my fren's brother. Seems runners have this problem... Maybe a common failure from a part causes this, but I'm not sure.

hey everyone,

i would like to know if there anyone out there who's using JCOSTA's Variator, Malossi Multivar2000 or Polini speed control for Gilera Runner RST. just wanna know whats the PROs and CONs about these product. which is the best??? ie. better topend, pickup and fuel consumtion....

i doubt u can get ur answer. Unless you find someone who has used all 3.

Most of the riders here used polini and malossi.

Jcosta is new.

oh okie dokie... btw are using anyone of them? cuz i've been thinking of changing to the malossi one.

no need to think already lah.. got money.. go! hahaha.. on a side note, the acceleration will be diff.. ur cruising speed will be diff . .ur fc will be slightly diff. so basically a whole diff experience. one of the 1st few steps in modding for performance. in between the 3, jcosta is the one, many will be less familiar with. the pollini's speed control has newer technology than the malossi's multivar 2000. better? i'm not sure myself, maybe after my multivar worn out, i'll give pollini a try.

i haved used polini and malossi. Both have increase in performance over stock.

curious: what's the change in the FC and accelleration and Cruising speed? You mentioned different - but how different? Also what is the cost of the malossi vs pollinni and jcosta? anyone knows?

acceleration will be better since u haf better control of the rpm, something like down gear for going up slope or overtaking, something like tat lah.

cruising speed will be slightly lower. and since u will be in high rev 'most of the time', definately fc gonna be higher... malossi ard 200++, j costa ard300++. pollini must ask kenny liow.

Maybe....from my xperience i have a friend who does not install fuel cap acrylic type cover and the engine stalled. Next posibilitiy is ur battery due to change for a new one. Coz my friend also kena like dat after change a new set of battery it solve the problem.

i heard tat malossi multivar cn be modified.. is it tru?? how it's done?? n wut is e propose??

any 1 got pic of it??

Modify a Multivar? Sure sounds wierd. From my understanding A mulivar profile is diifferent from stock variator. Thus the increase in performance. The only tunning that can be done is to varies the rollers weight.
