For modifying stock 4-2-1, what ppl do is to cut away the part where the catalyzer is and replaced it with a straight through pipe. this oso add power btw.

Sengkwang does this, so does many other shops that do welding. First motor also do it, but I find the workmanship in terms of welding and fitment, Seng Kwang still the best. They take alot of pride in their stuffs..

 

does anyone know how long will seng kwang take to do the process of cutting the catalyzer and replacing it with a straight through pipe? and roughly how much will it cost?

i bought 2nd hand pb1 header 4 200 n plus weld juz 20 only..sengkwang do 300+ for labour only..say we gt restrictor at the curve part to endcan..i juz use back the old part which welded bck to my header n damn i try out..still i cn play ard wif fs yoshi trioval spec 3 like hell

Ya.. agreed the best is weld. I din mine at Seng Kwang, cost around $40 if I am not wrong, if u feel to unweld and weld it agn will cost u $10 each. This is the most secure for your yoshi.

almost any shop can do it for you.. it depends on whether you want them to use aerosol spray can to spray it or good quality paint..
