Thank u very much in advance.

How time flies...

Big is certainly a warning but small can be downright scary! Never underestimate the effectiveness of small.

Hi all,

Please bear with me as probably these question has been asked ard a thousand times.

Upon reading up, I am going with the assumption of getting a spec 1 or spec 2. Between this 2, what is your Recommendation?

How can I tell the difference as they normally just list it as super 4 or CB400? I recall reading on it but can't back track.

Also.. What is the price range for these models?

Anything to note when viewing?

Hi guys,

Sorry i dunno if this is the correct thread to post my qns but i see see look look, this is the most suitable thread already.

I just had one question. I am intending to change to car instead of riding bike after nearly 11yrs of riding.

My current bike:

Super 4 vtec spec 3 (Yr 2005)

COE: Expire on Oct 2015

Milage: 74k (Consider quite low for a 9yrs bike) - I am the only owner.

Accident free, fully stock except for KNN air filter.

Can i check if the above mention and i sell it to bike shop, am i able to sell it at 2k ?

Am i asking for too high price or too low price ?

Hope you guys can give me a little idea because i can at least get a rough idea of how much it still worth before selling it off.

Thanks you guys and have a nice day !!!

My current bike:

Super 4 Vtec spec 3 (Yr 2005) - Black

COE: Expire on 11th Oct 2015

Milage: 77k (Consider very low for a almost 10yrs bike) - I am the only owner.

Accident free, fully stock except for KNN air filter.

Tyre and Battery changed end of yr2014, Regular maintenance done.

Selling price - $6k (Price negotiable if interested)

Serious buyer only.

also very curious bout the price of super 4 now. it is understandable that price of bikes may rocket along with coe. but, why are bikes in which coe is gonna expire, still able to command high prices (like 5k for one that is gonna expire this year) No offense to you Crave ^, just a coincidence that my qnt is so closely related to your post. asking as i am considering getting a second hand s4, but just cannot comprehend why an almost ten years old bike is able to go so high.

Cos sellers tag their prices to high coe premiums. If can, dun buy super 4.

@viper69, there is no scrap value of bikes at the end of Coe.

If sellers cannot sell before coe expiry date , they will not get back anything.if you buy such bikes, take note that wear n tear cannot be avoided. Moreover coe premiums may be higher than 6K come renewal time

hi guys , i brought my bike in to boon siew recently as there was this very apparent metallic scraping sound between 1k 2k revs between the 1st and 2nd gear. i believe the sound is there too at higher gears, its just that you cant hear it too well as its drowned out by the other noises when you ride. the mechanic took it in and came about 30 mins later telling me i had to change my sprockets and chain. they changed 3 components - 2 sprockets amounting to 227 and the chain drive amounting to 189 plus 45 bucks for labour.

the sound is gone and its all good now however when i told my colleague after coming in to work the next day, he said they over charged and a job like this would generally set someone back about 350. has anyone had this same issue before and if so what are the prices someone should actually pay for a job like this? i usually take my bike to them as well for the routine servicing packages and those run between 80 to 120 bucks . should i be looking elsewhere to service my bike in the future?

Its always easy to say only. What if the person who charge but is inexperience with handling your bike end up making things worst.

Or even worst, he do a cheap replacement and end up compromising the safety of your bike?

You decide bro. :)

Hi All,

I am not sure if this thread is still alive.

I am looking to sell my CB400 PB1 which COE end at 21 Dec 2018.

The condition of the bike i would rate it 7/10 and come with a box. So any idea how much can i sell the bike for ?

Thanks
