Ride too slow? We are looking at 115 motorcycles in a convoy stretching as long as 2KM, not 11 motorcycles. Many of the riders who attended are very new to riding on roads like these. Safety of the participants is of the utmost importance.

u might wan to consider tat numbers of bikes turn up,range of classes of bikes.

 

it would not be fair for the organiser to shoot all the way n leave the small classes bikes behind..some of them might even b a 1st timer on a NSH

 

instead of complaining,y dun say a thanks to the organiser for making this trip

 

or maybe next time round,u would like to organise such a trip for the sbf members

Food not nice, we cannot control. It is really difficult for even a good kitchen to produce food for 140 persons in less than an hour without much notice, even if it was a standardized menu. In fact, I would like to commend the kitchen in that restaurant for that feat they achieved.

 

Too little food? Blame the guy/gal at your table who ordered. The people at my table had a fabulous lunch for RM27 a head.

convoy in such big grp is not ez sia..haf to look out for many things..potholes,cars,stones,sand..so far so gd..except my butt numb by the time we reach every destination

When you enter Kukup, to the end on the right before the jetty. There is one restaurant. I rode in and parked there before to eat. Awesome amongst the other few I had. Which did you eat at?

In less than an hour? respect! I'd take an half an hour or more to make a proper meal for myself..shame on me.

 

 

Hahah the pips at the table dunno what good stuff to order ba. I still miss the kukup food..

Rm27 is quite cheap, how many dishes?

 

 

Riding slow is necessary for new timers and for the safety. Slow and steady. Even the mat rempits in M'sia do it quite well when they travel in packs when I saw them in M'sia..

Morale: even the fast and furious has discipline

 

 

 

While it was sunny over you guys side, it rained when I was going to my bike..went up take wear full set of rain coat come down a while later stopped..

Organizing something into an alien land is VERY tough I must say. Especially for those you don't know well enough too.

seriously.. not as if you riding in small group. in small group usually all go OTOT since most familiar with road. but still got 1~2 stay with slower bike. you cant expect 115 bikes all going at 299 on de road. its gonna be a mass accident. trust me. in touring, it was never much of de speed, but de safety of each other.

 

and since its like a mass outing for SBF(Everyone, not jus a thread), you cant expect every bike to be class 2 bike, there bound to have different type of bike. and seriously, not as if everyone who ride, knows malaysia well, even if ive been in and out malaysia a few times, i dun even ride fast, cos i scared de potholes on de floor

 

if you are in to speed and etc, try joining those bigger bikes who go in makan often, dun join such mass thingy. ;O

 

weather wise, cant blame them also.

 

you havent try riding under hot sun almost hitting 4x degree for 200km. thats wad i call real HOT.

 

food wise. up to individuals. you might like durain, others dun like. same theory isnt it? lols.

 

anyway.
