Recently i've been visiting JB quite frequently...

Due to the price increase on fules in SGP :giddy: :giddy:

I notice that there's an EXPRESS Lane for bikes @ Woodlands Check point...

Only allowing 1 rider w/o pillion...

My question is where can i apply so i could enter that express lane...

Cose i've tried entering there b4 by mistake, was asked to turn around... :cheeky: :cheeky:

My passport is non bio-metric...

Can i apply @ ICA???

Or do i have to go to Woodlands Checkpoint???

Whats the process and cost???

Please do share if u have personally SUCCESSFULLY went through the Woodland Express lane...

Thanks a Million Guys...

Not sure whether ur passport need to be biometric but u can apply the biometric lane at woodland checkpoint itself. It's at the right side building after u pass the custom officer.

yeah, after the sg customs check your passport and after going pass the ica police standing beside a machine, go thru the holes between the curb to the building on your right. You should now see some chairs and a water cooler, just park your bike there and enter the office to your right and viola!

Unless theres an older version??? (Can't be the blue passport rite???)

Or is there newer version just b4 the bio-metric???

o_O o_O o_O

Anyone wanna go and apply for this "BIKES" system???

Maybe we could head up there together???

Could even top up tank @ JB afterwards

Currently there are three generations of passport in circulation.

Generation 1 - Non-machine readable - very old type

Generation 2 - Machine readable but non-biometric - most common

Generation 3 - Biometric passport - latest

For people holding Gen 1 & 2 passports, when renewing, you will be issued with the Biometric passports.

For self check-in lanes at changi airport, they accept both Gen 2 & 3 passports.

Presently, you can still use Gen 2 passport for visit to USA without the need of a visa.

The downside of a Gen 3 is that the passport has a validity of only 5 years as compared to 10 years for earlier generation passport.
