I saw the guy riding down Bukit Timah a while back... Caucasian... yellow and creme Valk with black saddlebags... so he must sort of be in the area from time to time.

Yellow and creme? shucks. I saw a yellow / black Valk at Leedon Road this evening. Guy was wearing a full-face helmet so I didn't get to see much of his face. I can make out his Caucasian features and smile as he returned my wave.

 

I couldn't get to see his number plate due to the glare of the evening sun

Just saw a black Valkyrie labelled with LC emblem on both size of the fuel tank featured in Bollywood movie on Saturday afternoon. Looked and sounds cool with the twin pipes.

Question though... I see that in most pics, folks rub out the plate numbers. Why is that?

 

I just sort of found this out. It's mainly to prevent theft or vandalism due to jealously or something like that.

I also want a Valkyrie, but I did some research, and saw that it is no longer in production.

Hence there are no first hand Valkyries anymore....

Hi hi...Brother Silent Hunter...Try asking MAH coz i saw the latest Valkryie during December and January when i was hunting around for my bike...I do believe if you have the $$$$, they can bring in a brand new Valkryie latest edition and design....

Yes, I believe there are some old stock, 1st hand Valkyries produced in 2004, still seating in some warehouse, but they have to be specially ordered and shipped.

 

Now still P-Plater, don't know by the time I get a Class 2 licence still have or not.

 

Just saw one on E-Bay.

Price : USD$ 26,000+++ not including shipping.

 

That's nearly the price of a first hand car!

Last time bought from a forummer, tot can mod the bracket to fit my shadow.

 

But now lazy to do the mod.

No I'm very Happy with my ride and have no plans to cange for the time being. I always look to see whats happening in the marketplace.

 

If I was going to change I would consider both Honda and Star (with a tendency towards the Star). Hopefully someone else in my houshold will upgrade in the next few months :)
