need help from anyone that is going to sadao custom.

hello. i need some help from anyone who is going to thailand via sadao custom. I need to find out

 

1. if the sadao custom got "arrival on visa" process or not.

2. if there is, what is the operating time for the visa counter.

 

How u can help me:

 

1. when u reach sadao border, walk into the room on the left side. it is in the middle room. There is a counter and i remember this is the visa counter (i am not sure, that is why i need help).

2. Help me ask the custom officer if china password can get "visa on arrival" here.

3. Help me get information like the visa cost (should be 500baht to 1000baht), the operating time for the visa counter

4. if possible, can u help me get a visa form. This is not important, becos i can get the visa form when i reach there.

 

I will be very appericate for anyone to help me on this. Basically the thai embarssy did not help me much (kind of useless). I call to custom in thailand, they say all airport have "visa on arrival", i told her i am going via sadao border and she seems cannot understand. sigh... my thai also very poor, so no choice, cannot get the info i want.

 

8 year ago, i did went sadao border with a china password friend, he is able to get the visa, but that is 8 yr ago. I need current up to date info.

 

I wanted to bring my friend (china password) to visit malaysia then visit thailand. I wanted to travel by bus.

 

I wanted to use the bus service from beach rd, but i scare the visa may take a long time, and the bus will leave us behind. (that will be a sad trip). Anyone know the answer to this worry of my?

Visa is only for country not belong to the ASEAN country region. All asean country can visit any country within the asean group without visa for 30 or a max of 90 days depending on the country.

 

Incase u dont knoe what is a Asean country this is the list

china password visiting thailand must apply for visa.

Thailand provide visa on arrival in every airport in thailand.

The visa price is vary from 500baht to 1000 baht.

 

Singapore thail emessary does not do visa for any visitor.

 

What i am interested is sadao border crossing only. the travelling method is by land (usually bus or etc).

 

I need a kind soul to help me when he is at sadao border,

 

1. walk into the door in the middle of the custom building, there is a counter saying "visa".

2. check for me china passport visa can apply at this counter or not.

3. and does the whole process need a long time for eg more then 20 min. (air port take about 10 min depending on the Q)

 

 

** maybe It is best if u could speak a little thai becos i think the custom officer maybe not good english speaker.

** i 8 years ago have cross the border with a china passport friend, it take 30min. But since it is so long ago, don't know it is still the same or not.

** the reason why i say the waiting time is important becos the bus do not wait for people. so if the waiting time is long, i may have to suggest travel by car/bike to my friend (which i am inviting to go thailand with me).

** beach road bus company don't want to answer my qn. they recommand fly there.

** google search or website can easily find data that travel by air. but what i want is travel by land.

** it will be ashame if i accompany my friend travel 900km and need to turn back becos of the visa issue. this is why i want to find out the answer before travel.

** singapore passport is easy. no problem. i know.

when i go for Thailand trip last time.. i got 2 China national friends..

 

just go to the office at the left side and "ask"/request for a visa on arrival..

IIRC, it's 700baht..

that's abt 1 and 1/2 yrs ago..
