I think the problem is that no not many people ride sp-1 and sp-2s. :weep:

i know how you feel. the VTRs are great bikes, and its sad that there aren't that many riders in Singapore (or in this board) that would like to have continuous discussions about it... sad :weep:

ok that seriously threw me off tangent.

i thought most Yammys on the roads nowadays ARE inline 4s... R1s, R6s........ i know they produced a couple of V Twins ages ago but they're not in production anymore, no?

:giddy:

my head hurts.. so confusing..

Hey i just realised something about that picture.

all the bikes that are in the pic are street legal bikes.... :giddy: .... don't you guys use race fairings when you're on the track???

most of the riders here do... they take the race bike (modified street bike that they put race fairings on) and ride it on track. that way the street fairings won't be damaged and the bike is a lot lighter (no lights etc...)

like the pic in my sig!

why don't u guys do that in PG?

VTR1000SP has his endurance type race farring on.. Other than that, maybe the singaporeans rich lor.. But most of the time, i think they are just new to the track and does'nt push the machines as hard initially...

price of the race fairings dun think is cheap + not much VTR SP rider in SG tat's why not much ppl change to it + VTR SP Parts r veri hard to find in SG. In SG modified mean TP will b waitng 4 u = u need to hav alot's of $$$$ than u r able to mod it.

Hi guys, am a fan of this beautiful V-twin monster ever since i'm riding a 2b bike and this bike simply has everything i am looking for. Its a Honda, side-high mount twin exhaust, the sound of its v-twin engine etc etc. I have not ridden a v-twin bike b4. Issit a difficult to handle this big cc machine? I'm now riding a 600. Dunno issit too fast for me to jump straight to a 1000cc v-twin. Wats the diff between the SP1 and SP2? and hows the fuel consumption of this bike?? wats the lowest and highest mileage u guys can get from a full tank? are there any rumours that this bike is going to stop production soon or they coming out with new facelifts/models for the VTR? Finally, wats the machine price for a first hand and insurace cost for a 24 year old? Appreciate and thanks if anyone can give me some answers...
