Hi guys, am a fan of this beautiful V-twin monster ever since i'm riding a 2b bike and this bike simply has everything i am looking for. Its a Honda, side-high mount twin exhaust, the sound of its v-twin engine etc etc. I have not ridden a v-twin bike b4. Issit a difficult to handle this big cc machine? I'm now riding a 600. Dunno issit too fast for me to jump straight to a 1000cc v-twin. Wats the diff between the SP1 and SP2? and hows the fuel consumption of this bike?? wats the lowest and highest mileage u guys can get from a full tank? are there any rumours that this bike is going to stop production soon or they coming out with new facelifts/models for the VTR? Finally, wats the machine price for a first hand and insurace cost for a 24 year old? Appreciate and thanks if anyone can give me some answers...

dude, are you looking for an sp-1 or sp-2?

here's me with the sp-1

http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g264/AyaMadigan/RuthieDrac.jpg

generally there's not much (if any) visual differences between the sp-1and 2. Honda upgraded the 1 to the 2, and has since stopped production of the Sp-1...

bad news: bloody hard trying to get things replaced (here anyway), especially if you're getting a replacement power commander specially tailored for the sp-1.

other differences are subtle, including more power and torque for the sp-2, fuel consumption is apparently better as well... i don't know the exact specs because i don't (nor does my bf) ride one. :cheeky:

don't know about insurance coz i'm not in the country :cheeky: but VTR1000 sp will be able to help you out. he rides an sp1 too

welcome to the club, matey :thumb: :bouncefire:
