its been a while since i browsed through this thread. anyways the bandit 1250 not only comes with full fairing n panniers n top box but also comes with a garmin gps meant for the bike. saw it on the suzuki uk website.

 

i wonder is the bandit 650k7 or later or this gsx650f will ever touch our shores???

today i went to suzuki main agent

 

i talked to the boss personally

he said GSF1250 brand new coming out K9

this year launch and in spore next year

he already booked few units

so confirmed will arrive here

but for 650cc he not sure since he need good feedback from all retailers in spore

 

but i plead him to bring in 650cc since i cannot afford for the 1250cc road tax

 

this is bandit bike but with new features

i suppose the above pictures with the full fairing is the one

I think the best answer can't be obtained from this thread, rather a phonecall to an insurance company which you are interested in for a rough quotation would be the best option.

hey xiaowang...its been a long time. I too have been busy at work now a days. guess i won't get a chance to tour much this yr. hopefully next yr will have more time for touring.

Anywayz...i too really m considering a bandit 1250. However i have a few concerns. Like does it runs really hot for local riding?

 

Is the consumption really high?

i am so crazy of this bandit 1250

 

i have reqeusted agent to bring in 650cc but he never guarantee

but he guarantee K9 2009 version he has paid money for more then ten units to arrive in spore next year

 

he said 2009 version is totally new for bandit

 

now in mah link motor i saw a maroon naked version 1250cc

 

this bike bandit full head cover can perform top speed 260km/h

 

for local riding it is very low FC

super LOW

 

and no heat / no overheat

because this bike is bullet proof engine and the water cooling system enters inlet holes within gearbox and upper block

 

this is new cooling system .....they use water to cool engine gearbox and upper block ......compare to oil cooling for gearbox

 

and the silver color engine emits out heat and never effect the leg of rider;

the postioning is ergonomics

also in teo spray , defu lane, i saw an old malay man using bandit , i had few minutes chat with him

he said it is a superb marvelous bike by suzuki engineers with no cut cost measurement

all the best given to the bike even the ABS and mudguard for chain drive is made of stainless steel.

 

and the tyre is high end made for touring

 

the meter GSF also displays GSF on key ignition ON

 

so many power pack in this bike

 

so no problem of thinking riding local and overseas

 

my concern is only the high road tax .....eeee
