okay thanks for the help guys.

btw how much does a full service cost cos i know nuts abt 2A bikes. i don't know when the last owner did his service but i really want my bandit in working order.

some problems are carb not flowing properly and suspension too soft. the bike gets too hot too after some time as in the idle rmp increases(is it normal?).

all bikes, idiling increase

maybe

suggestion

1) carb washing + tuning

2) flush coolant

3) plugs + EO + oil filter

PROBLEM is not serious, if it can be solved with MONEY ... the PROBLEM comes when you have NO MONEY

Guan Hoe eh? @ Paya Lebar....hmmm...noted...:dot:

Blk 1043, #148

Eunos Ave 3

(near to Paya Lebar Post Office

It's the Suzuki Service Center, with nice and friendly people.

Just ask Mr Han to do a "complete service and check" for you. Don't worrry, they do not chop owners there because they are the authorised service centre for Suzuki bikes.

My last service was last week, and the bill came to about S$90 only. Only changed fully synthetic EO + oil filter, but Mr Han checked everything else, ie listen to engine noise, adjust chain, clean brake pads, etc; in accordance with the service manual for the 6000 km servicing. Time taken was about an hour or so.

Of course, the cost will be more if more tasks are done, like adjusting valve clearance which will require removal of the radiator hoses, cylinder head cover and the process will need the replacement of gaskets and maybe water hose if not in good condition.

I was riding at about 120 km/h when something black just flew past over my arm. Just then, I wanted to change to the right lane and so, checked my right mirror... The mirror was not there! Just the metal stand.

Realised that the black thing that flew past earlier was the reverse side of the mirror, which happen to fall on my lap. Good thing I was holding on to the tank when I ride.

I just put the mirror in my pocket and ride home. Managed to fix it back.

I am now considering whether I should change my mirrors.

What do you guys think?

may the force be with U

haha... funny.

by the way, is S$148 for servicing too much?

it covers changing of engine oil, iridium spark plugs and oil filter.

i also spent S$80 for carb cleaning and tuning.

do you guys think it's too much? i got a shock at the price!

cheap stuff, dun expect good either in service or in quality

Iridium spark plugs, in my opinion, allows smoother riding. Another thing I noticed is that it slightly improves the fuel consumption. Although it is abit more expensive than Denso spark plugs, it's worth it.

diddy the patient, I agree with you.
