Well, to me what is also important apart from servicing is stocking of common parts like gaskets, seals and filters. Other not so common items I can understand if time is needed to bring in.

 

Mah certainly is big, carrying brands like Triumph, MV Agusta etc. Their mechanic is trained in servicing triples too? Last time there was a guy there called Thunder Mah, famous for Goldwing. Still around?

oh..correction, mah does not carry Mv. Mv is carried by sporting. its just that sporting leased office space from mah so they can display their stuff aka the Mv bikes. i got this info from the MV thread.

if keen to ride machine long term, should keep some of the parts mentioned as spares.

I think many bike publications from overseas normally contain topless women on their centrefolds, posing with bikes.

 

What naked women has got to do with bikes still leaves me clueless. I see it as mainly using sex appeal to draw in the ogling man to entice them to purchase the products. This is the reason why I normally buy only UK BIKE. No non-bike articles or nonsense within.

I could have sworn the Street Triple comes with a single silencer. 2 seems like overkill for a 675cc bike.

I assume you already have a 2A? What's stopping you from getting your Class 2?

i have a yr more b4 i can get class 2, and then i have gf pressure, income for class 2 bike not viable as yet..sighz..so many factors...

The street triple is a beauty and most websites gave rave reviews for it. Is Mah the only dealer here for Triumph bikes?

The market for Triumphs in SG is quite poor lah. There are many who appreciate the engineering, but not many who dare to step forward and get one. Most keep saying that spare parts are hard to get, cannot service at normal workshop, etc etc. This is to be expected what!

You must be referring to "kakis"

 

Anyway yes, maybe a smaller cc bike would be more suited for our lousy local roads.

buying a bigger cc or smaller cc machine really depends on what it is used for....
