plenty of brand new-old stock ZX 150 KRR at bukit batok..(cannot remember the shop) saw them last year.. sure still have coz i estimate got around 20+..

Rode this bike last year.. :lovestruck: Absolutely fell in love with it.. Even went 160km/h with mine along BKE.. Tested machines with friendly chinese dude on his NSR 150 SP. Went 140km/h on Clementi Road that time.. Corner until side cowling scraping on the road at GAP.. Ahhhhh~ My young and reckless days......

Wait a minute, that was only last year! :cheeky:

Pros: Responsive controls, small and nimble, girls look great riding it (i have no idea why)

Cons: Must slap on racing footrests for more aggressive feel, uncomfortable pillion seat (oh well, it is a racing bike after all)

P.S.: Anybody riding KRR plate FX 7118 B?

Nothing in the world compares to the feeling of raw power between your legs..... well, except maybe a pint of cold Coke.....

I came to know that some KR are fitted with spoke rims. What are the difference between a sport rim and spokes rim as in the performance?

Lighter therefore better overall performance.. can fit skinny tyres (aka tyre SOTONG).. can also fit aftermarket disc brakes and even calipers..

I wanted to put on spokeys on my kr, but never got ard to doing it

Oh yeah, u will also compromise cornering & stability.. coz most ppl using spokeys will have both front and rear tyre of equal size. I also witnessed an accident where the spoke actually penetrated into the tyre after the rider buang in a corner...

hey fireshamie.. i tot i saw u on the road at junction near ten mile junction this morning (08/04/2008). Was it you in the red jacket? FX 4**8? i could be wrong.... :giddy:

accidents always have a way to calm down your riding style.. if you can walk away after recovering, it's a good but painful lesson learnt.. A lot are not as lucky as you creed.. let's all be safe.. ride hard, but safe!

spokeys are great for top speed then, i guess? any effect on FC since they are light? i didn't use coz scared fall when corner.. :D

Frm what i heard Sotong tires give u the extra distance on a straight road(such that u can notice for urselves in those Jackpot bikes) especially not advisable on corners as they are rather thinner in width unless u can adjust to it.

aniways i wanted to ask if any1 knows how to realise if kr is overheated or sumthing.By lookin at the fuel gadge, there is only 1 pin showing both the fuel and the temperature.so how do we figure it out ?

Posted

push a button and it will show fuel. dont push the button and it will show temp.

go hunt around the speedometer area for a "fuel" button.

my gsx doesnt even have a fuel meter. :/
