So when they proposing to let you have yr ass.. coe for bikes should be on the rise... many ppl leave their cars and opt for bikes as transport due to the rising petrol & erp rates.... If the coe difference is not much would suggest to take it. Should foresee another round of higher coe.... well who knows.. coe might drop to one dollar..he.he..hee..e

Dunno when going to get the bike; decided that $400 extra to top up not worth it. So I guess going for 2nd bidding in 2 weeks time... Maybe will have better news then..

ok.. ok.. have to admit.. It's really nice with the yellow brake line fitted on. But the brake line is really stretched... defintely needs to be replaced.

 

haha i knew it! you vain pot!! you just have to take care of the brake hose to clean it and rub a thin film of silicone to prevent the colour from fading.

That day I was sitting @ ParkRoyal Hotel having some wine in the lounge, I saw a yellow MadAss zoom pass. He didn't have a box, but I think he kind of have a net on the passenger seat for him to put a spare helmet (i guess)? I do have a rear box, bt was contemplating if I shld remove it. Hmm... Is there a 'magnetic bag' suitable for MadAss? Im nt very gd w/ accessories.

most of the magnetic bags are made for flat based surface area eg. on top of conventional gas tank. Havn't get a chance to see any bags for our asses yet. Hard to find..coz our asses tank surface is round.

 

Would recommend to use "strap on's" bags... it will secure onto yr ass better. Believe you are not able to get it on bike shops here with much choices. Also if u use such bags most of them are not water-proof..so be prepared to get yr stuffs wet if it rains.

 

Suggest to pay BEACH ROAD MARKET a visit... you will get better "ideas" & choices for bags of such. Prices are also cheaper.. so yr wallet won't hurt so much.

 

Myself have been there & got some "items" which I will input into my ass when I have the time during the weekend....

up to now there really isn't any magnetic bag for our bikes. it is still good to stick to the box for convenience sake. it is not so comfortable to be carrying a big bag around with your helmet and stuffs inside.

but i do not think that the saddle bags will be practical for local use. you have to get a water proof one in case of rain and it is not secure. if you want it to be secure you still have to lock it. touring use is ok as you bring the bag along with you. but for local riding and storage, i still feel the box is the best. although you compromise on the looks.

do you know where is the former 219 shop unit? it is opposite where it is currently. just go down a few shops and you will find B-plus. however, i must say that B-plus specialise in parts for bikes like Spark or X1R.

alternatively, you may want to make a trip across the border to Ah Gua Lane there. cos, B-plus has a lot of parts from Thailand which is also available in JB. JB are the pros in cub kias. so if you want to find compatible parts on a cub, that's another place to look and their price will be much cheaper too.

good thinking dude. initially i also thought of going up to JB as i want to fix a bigger brake disc on my Spark 135 but decided to abort the idea due to security issues and find it troublesome. just went to B-plus today but their brake discs sold like hot cakes and out of stock.
