so far i used this tire only and i cant compare with other makes, however i would say this tire is pretty good and works well on the streets be it wet or dry surface... as in i didnt skid during braking, turning is okay...tire wear okay.. last me almost 1year... etc..

however on the tracks, i brought it once on the dry and once on e wet... on the wet, during hard braking, the front felt as if it was floating and cant really grip well in my opinion...

but on the dry, didnt had any problems mentioned above... it grips pretty well, but take note i'm a slow rider, not so skillful enuff to push the tires to the limit.

i would like to try the bt 016 next, had a friend on a cbr600 says that its "easier to turn" on the streets..... yep.. hope it helps...

haha hope my opinion can help u guys!!! i tried before both similiar set's...

Michelin Pilot Power 2 CT 190/50: (NOTE! NOW ADAYS ONLY HAVE 190/55, I NEVER TRIED B4 190/55, Basically in theory diff is bike rear will be more taller, top speed will drop abit, pick up n mid stronger abit & meter no more 299km/hr)

Track: i have done 3 Track Session and still available to use for 20k mileage... during track the michelin tyre's will always give u the fake feedback of losing grip's n power slide it when warm up (PG took me 1 lap's to warm it up) dun panic and juz let it slide... and den unable to corner when over heated (Meaning ur angle is like 30 degree down but bike still going straight! Scared the **** out of me, took me about 6laps to overheat it). had a fall in PG 1st time i use this tyre because i tot i losing grip, so i go counter and bang down i go... total damage was $800plus...

Road/Wet: Wet day performance was good too, tried before 300 on Rain day! it does not feedback but also does not aqua padding too... not bad i will say! tried before 300 in wet floor condition & suddenly ran into a pool of water under the bridge in 2nd link, hmmm bike did skid from 2nd lane to 3rd lane, but grip back without tank slapping...

Road/Dry: Grip is so so, feedback is okay. but during the switching of the compound u can really feel the different. as in 1st, u have to push the bike hard downwards to a certain angle, maybe like 25 degree i say den it will start changing compound ba, after the switching the bike will auto go downwards automatically like how a track tire feel!

Overall when i was riding my 04 CBR1000RR :thumb: used 5 set's

Pirelli Diablo Corsa no III (My time still haven come out the Diablo Corsa III)

Track: Same as this is my personal habbit's, brand new tyre must go track, not to waste the grip feeling, 3 Session in total, and the tire hit the bald warning in only 10k mileage. Grip as good as a track tire only thing is that it has less feedback... maybe is because road tyre are more round shape compare to track tire more oval shape. take's 2 laps to warm up and does not overheat before with it. does not have the power slide feeling compare to 2CT!

Road/Wet: Totally give it a 0 star!!! WTF!!! always skid when in white lining about 120km/hr with 5k rpm (if i never remember wrong...) totally same as a track tire, u can be maintain ur throttle @ 5k rpm, suddenly u fish tail, ur bike howl abit and u saw ur rpm goes to 5.5k and den back to 5k... LOL!!!

Road/Dry: Can't complain, its like it will stick onto the floor but only thing is poor feedback from the front. rear was good! :thumb:

Overall when i was riding my 04 CBR1000RR :faint: used 2 set's (cause normally i ride it to work and during the rain period, give me great headace)

Note! it may perform different compare to u and me as due to rider weight/style of riding/tyre pressure preference!

There is the latest BT016 compared to the 2CT, i used it on my CBR1000RR 08 before. i personally feel that the BT016 is much more better than 2CT in dry & track but lousier in Wet but still because its on different bike, i cannot conclude based on this. it maybe due to bike differential and hence giving different peformance.

That's the thing about Pirelli.... seriously CMI on wet conditions.... But in dry conditions..... it is heavenly...... But does the corsa III wear our pretty fast in the centre as i think i would be using it more for street than track......

I've had Pilot Power before, it's very slippery when wet, always sliding around, used 2 sets, never went back to Michelin ever since.

Tried Diablo Corsa III as well, damn grippy tires, even when new. However, turning in requires more effort.

Not that track crazy, above reviews based on road usage.

So far my favourite is still 015, when this one wears, I'll try 016. So far only 7,000km. Need to ride more.
