hi bros, i just got my cbr 1000 05 today.

it's fully stock and i'm thinking of changing my pipe 1st.

pls advice me on where and what is the best.

or maybe some bros might wanna offer me the slip-on.

Bro..i Have exactly the same prob as u..he said 2 weeks too..i wait 3 months..at last..took back the deposit..cus he break the promise..tellin me nid to reserve as very fast finish..but damn..at last bought the Gi pro..

depend on wat type of pipe u looking at..you sould try Yoshi Gp force 1..dont noe now got silencer or not..mine im using Gp force without silencer but approve with cert..this pipe good mid range and sound without silencer..hoever got silencer not so nice :-) (i believe nw gp force got silencer) u can get this at Motorworld.

 

next best pipe to purchase will be Akraprovic..the best performance pipe..however it dig ur pocket deep.. :-)

Ha I should have taken back the deposit too, darn... don't really like the place very much. He charged me 30 bucks juz to reconnect a gear indicator that was disconnected...

 

Anyways I'm an 05 rider and I need frame sliders, is there a Motovation shop in town? I saw at Ubi there b4 but it looked like it was closed for good...

I had a pair for my 600 and i still thought it was motivation, wat a joke...

 

Anyway I'm using GPR thunderline, came with the bike. Sounds not bad la but I think performance wise it doesnt help with anything

How do you define best? Those days, ppl who rode RR4 or RR5 regretted getting it, only 1hp increase at the top end.

lesat- you shld have taken it bro..he is a two face guy..will be good when he wan sales..when he got the sale..totally chge..haish..so sad that he hav to be this kind of businessman..

 

tashi- bro mayb for 07 model might diff..05 might be different..but usually exhaust chge increase oso max 5 to 6hp..unless it is full system..anyway it is individual..some jus wan "sound" whereas some jus "looks" and some "power"..mayb im wrong wif the akra..sorie bout it rebanyo.

Rebanyo- u can find at SBF, if u are lucky. :-) the pipe nw i do not noe the price..u can call motorworld to check..the open at 10am..6844 0792..u look for fauzi..usually the price they give on the phone is nego after u cnfirm buying..make sure to ask discount..

I've heard a Termi on the RR5, sounds really nice and bassy. It was one of my choice, but the quality of the welding is really bad.

they seem to always close the shop shutter at ubi.. but actually they are open..

have to take the lift beside the shop to 2nd sty..
