Anyone tried to remove the tailboard and change the seat exhaust and/or tank to make it look like retro cb400?

Check out the brackets of that headlamp and see if any similarities to your bike. If similar, definitely can be done. Just cough up the dough and buy the headlamp direct from Honda.

Shrouds... I'd rather you leave it naked and get radiator air scoops to replace the metal piece by the side of your radiator. Looks good and serves a purpose.

unscrew the tailboard. you will see the tail light assembly. to remove the red cover, you need to heat up and soften the glue in order to remove the cover. if you just intend to change the bulb, removing the tailboard should be sufficient.

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

yes. you will need to remove the brackets along with baseplate otherwise your tail light cannot be removed.

If I'm not wrong you can just remove some screws from inside w/o having to take out the whole tailboard.
