I'd love to see how you guys did this. Am itching to install on mine to charge phone and other gadgets while riding.

Anyone installed a socket in a tankbag? How about a USB hub for charging multiple devices?

You have to change your bar clamp, extend your brake hose, might have to extend your throttle cable and clutch cable, bars are wider and hence lane splitting is a bit of a chore. You tend to lean forward more cos your hands are spread out wider.

Pros I can see is that your bike look aggressive.

ok..interesting...coz im buying a renthal bar from a fellow forumer...sp wat else do i have to purchase.

and as wat u said lane changing is a chore, wat type of handle bar u recommend bro..or shall i stick to the renthal bar..

thanx 4 the advice...

Wat's the purpose of changing your bar should be your consideration. If to increase the bar height for comfort riding, then just get a bar riser of 25mm to 30mm w/o having to do any modifications to cables or hoses. If you want a lower or sportier feel, just get yourself the non-Vtec handlebars. For myself I bought the bar risers off ebay from UK.
