How often do u wash ur helmet?

I wash my half face once every week

 

and my FF once everytime i use it.

Because I don't take notice sometimes, I find that wash my HF every month. Bought a disinfectant spray to do half the job.

 

My FF isn't used on a daily basis so that one no need to ask . But I vowed to take care of my "baby" once it gets dirty...same treatment as my "gal" in the carpark right now.

 

A $300 helmet isn't cheap hor...Bei sai boh chap one de!

how do you all wash?

just soak in soapy water and then hang to dry in the sun? especially for those who do not have removable lining

 

cos I remember reading somewhere that by doing that actually breaks down the foam compostie that is inside, not sure how accurate am I on that though

I found that if my hair is dry, and the hair gel has dried, it almost doesn't leave any smell. Hence, now I apply hair gel at night before I sleep, or after I arrive in office.

I wash when the smell is present. Just unclip the paddings, throw those into the washing machine and dry them afterwards. Once dry and smelling fresh, clip the paddings back to my FF helmet...
