Hi guys, I have a recurring problem with my Yamaha Majesty YP250. Happens every 20,000km or so.

 

Over time, when moving off, the bike seems to keep getting stuck at very low RPMs, and it gets worse and worse. I think its the front variator 'sticking', unable to go to a shorter gear to let the engine rev.

 

Interesting part is, to get rid of this problem, all I have to do is ride the bike at high speed for awhile, then everything becomes very smooth, until the next morning when moving off becomes awkward again.

 

Trouble is, everytime this happens I change alot of things. Rollers, clips, belt. Last time round I went nuts and changed EVERYTHING, even the clutch springs, both pulleys....

 

And now the problem is back again. Can anyone advice me whats causing this? Rollers? Belt? or (i hope not) the pulleys?

hi . im a newbie on my new bought runner . got a vxr 200 recently . a 2nd hand de . i was just wondering .. wad's the full tank of my bike can anyone tell me ? i just pump a 12 dollar though .. but its full already .. and my meter reading only 3 bars on the fuel thingy . -.-

hi guys..i dunno if its normal or not but during idling mode my engine rev seems inconsistent..the needle jumps up and down..anyone know whats the problem or is this normal?

Hi to all seniors, I'm new to biking scene. I got an automatic cub, which is essentially on scooter-type transmission.

 

I would like to enquire the following:

 

1) At what mileage should I have a belt change, roller servicings, spark plug, engine overhaul, tappet clearance, carb servicing?

 

2) Did I miss out any maintenances on above, apart from the regular EO change? Please advice.

 

I did try to do a search here, none too comprehensive, hope I didn't double-thread unknowingly.

I used to rode bikes from 1994 till 2007 end. Last own bike was RVF. Recently, after taking care of most of my financial problems, I left worry free now

Hi i've purchased a 2nd hand air bullet filter,

 

Ask tai hin they charged me SGD 80 just to swarp my stock air filter with 2nd hand bullet air filter.

 

need advice if ppl can recommend any other shop which charge at lower rates..rather than tai hin…Hopefully to get an answer before 1730hrs..today..(26/9/09)

Belt Change or Inspection @ 8 000 or 10 000 as it all depands "HOW" much you play with your throttle.

 

Roller Inspection @ 5 000 or when you felt that there is a drop in the "DRAG".

 

Strongly advice everytime you change the engine & gear oil get an air-gun to clear all dust, dirt in the transmission compartment.

 

(for the rest of your question is abit too long to explain, sorry bro!)

rollers?? rollers are ok n he greased it.. well i sent to bikeworkz... i always sent there for my superfour... not really too sure if he has experience on scoots... any links to where i can get details on how tis auto bike works?? like the multivar, the diff weight of rollers how it works and so on... help will be deeply appreciated... thank you so much !!

 

 

 

Yo! are you talking about the rollers in the transmission compartment, in the varaitor set? than i am so sorry to inform you bro you need to change a new set cos NO NO NO need to grease it as that will not giving you the speed you need.

 

Explanation of the Transmission Compartment

Varaitor Kit(Front) : Inner and Outer plate makes a different with the angle on the flat surface providing needs for "Starting" "Mid-range" "Higher end speed" As for the Rollers with the many many grams is to match the rider needs for the 3 type of need in riding, of course the best result of this Transmission tuning may be best with matching exhaust.........I am talking about factory manufacture scooters not the MODIFY bike yet.
