I used to work in a retail store and yes, I have had people coming up to me, pointing to something odd on their notebook screen and say "There!", all while running their "dead pixel test" application.

Needless to say, we also had to process lots of DOA's becaouse of this, even if just a pixel died on one's screen. :giddy:

I've installled many LCDs and Plasmas and many 'smart alecks' woop out their players and their Test program to waste my time :sian: They don't understand that I can't do anything even if there was a bright spot/dead pixel or any other problem. They just gotta call the service side.

Haha...and you know what? We're the service side people so,... go figure :giddy:
