hi, i'm recently picking up tennis, played during NS with my OC but tht time didn't enjoy as he purposely "tortured" me, really gd player

 

jus had a session with my frens on sunday. & i enjoyed it. hope to learn more bout it & maybe if those frens r more serious, we'll get our personal rackets too

hey guys, PM me if really interested to play. I am free most night except tues and fri(got class). other than that ok. weekend also can play in the day. court wise best if can arrange a centralised area best if in the east i dun mind travelling though. Balls i have about 20+ so i think shouldn't be a problem....

but time and place quite hard for some.... how to plan??? btw anyone got easy way to book court eg: like membership some where or live condo. that might facilitate the whole thing....

i'm keen... but the problem lies with the court.... i know cdans country club got courts.. usually i play there without bookin it... most of the time no ppl book 1... if there is, we just leave lor

where you stay??? if we set it at once every two week to a month, what do you think? maybe post a new topic on this and see if can get two more kaki so can play doubles(less tiring)?. there is quite a few locations actually but must book early... what you think?

anyone knows where to get gd & cheap tennis shoes?

 

was using my running shoes all tis while & i nearly sprain my ankle last sun.

 

i'm looking out for a racket too. i've read some stuff bout them so was tinking of getting a heavier one thts head light bout i haven really got to test the diff between head light, heavy heavy & well balanced. i suppose the frame stiffness matters too rite?

 

anyway, i'll be gng every sunday to the old NIE side to play tennis. rates r $9.50 per hr. we already pool 8 pple liao, so each person pays $10 for 2 courts of 1 hr weekly lor.

 

the gd part is tht there's an uncle who's willing to coach us while he joins us to play weekly :cheer:

as for the shoes, i got mine at world of sports. Reebok.. $50.. not bad...

if you go queenway shopping centre, you can get it at around 40...and its quite near where you play right?
