A) drop the current subject so that u will not be able to to see DT and u can concentrate on other subject. The bad part of this is that this subject is the last subject the Uni offer and the chances of passing is better than the replacement subject.

 

B) cont to take the subject but u will not be happy because DT is in the same class with u and there will still be that kind of ugly feeling over there.

what is the purpose for your 2nd bike? 1 bike to ride to work mon-fri and the kr for weekend fun?

 

i see no point in keeping 2 2b bikes. not like the maintenance, wear and tear or petrol of the kr is so high that spending a few thousand on a 2nd bike can help you save in the long term. dont forget you are also a new rider... insurance is another burden to you liao. and most likely you will be itching to upgrade once you get your 2a.

i see no point in keeping 2 2b bikes.

 

In other countries it can be an option like you said, one for fun and economy, the other for weekend track days. But in Singapore since our insurance and upkeep is already this high, better to get one all-purpose machine and use it to the max. We don't clock up a lot of mileage (by overseas standards) anyway.

 

I will feel bad if I have 2 "wives" and one of them has to wait while I attend to the other :3

yeah i know. i was referring to haoKR situation in that case, especially so when he is a student doing PT job only. anyway i guess it also depend on what type of bike la.... some sport bike riders tow their bike to the circuit, ride hard and tow back to their place. so a few k km also can be considered high to them.

but the way you do selective quoting on my post totally change what i meant originally. i was saying i see no point for him to keep 2x 2b bikes because it is NOT like kr petrol or maintenance is so high.... etc.

This guy, been bugging me to become his subrider for his S4, with a nice (his favourite numberplate) while he goes overseas to work. But everytime he sms me to take, I reply him with when he is free. Or at least confirm when we are free to handover the paperworks and keys so I can deal with the bike. From servicing, maintenance, renew insurance, inspection and renew road tax.

 

So far, he never replies me about the confirmed timing. And I realised that his departure dates or certain aspect of that bike details is 'change-able' with his sms-ses to pressure me to give date & time to 'take' bike.

 

There was also a certain attitude, that I dont feel comfortable. That he is giving charity, or that he is owner, so he can afford to be impatient, but since I am the receiver, I should respond to him everytime, and pretend that previous or even more previous conversations did not exists. He can roti prata, or rubberise his words.......and I have to ignore that every time?

 

So far, I am ready for the bike. My helmet and riding gears are sitting in my room for the last two months. Am I being taken for granted, that because I can pretend to forget, or that I dont mention things nor pressure on issues?

Was telling somone who listened, about how my baby brother long time ago boasted about buying a condominium to house my mother after he graduated from UK studies and becomes the 'guang zhong yeow zhu' pride and joy to ancestors.....which my mummy sold her HDB flat to finance his studies.....and its been more then 7 years now, since he graduated, lands himself a decent job and er hem.......the private condominium has not materialised.

 

The moment that boast came out from his mouth, I kept quiet, but I already knew what kinda condominium he will be buying my mother. The kind that you burn, after that someone is dead kind.
