I was just babbling, didnt know u all are replying. Its like this, we give her 1 weeks notice, so her last day is 1 week later. But she take that 1 weeks notice as asking her to leave straight away and ask for her cheque. She has no concept of serving notice, even though she has the employment letter infront of her stating so.

Should give them time to get used to your filing system. I realised every company has different ways of doing the same work

 

Its not that, from the way she works, she lacks the knowledge of office administration, probably lied in her resume to get the job. Keying in airwaybill numbers and invoices, all mixed up. Invoices take in front page, 2nd, 3rd page final total never take in!!!

Well, not many really understands the concept.

 

Its actually up to the employer actually, even if she does not know to serve notice. Its up to the employer to waive that notice period and let off her there and then. But pay her only up to the day she worked/leave. And the cheque can be mailed to her, at the end of the month and employer as up to 7 days in the new pay to pay her.

 

But if she demands for that 7 days of notice to be served to her in cold hard cash. Its up to the employer to state it down that you refused. Either she accepts the pay for how many days she worked, or she has to serve notice. Failing which, you can deduct 7 days of work pay if she walked out herself. And send her her pay in the new month. Meaning, she quitted without notice instead of being terminated. Let her decide whether she wants to keep her pride, or do her job.

I went for medical screening to check that I am fit for IPPT.

 

My heart and blood pressure was good. But the doctor asked and I answered about my knee and wrist. She took my wrists, compared them and tell me my right wrist is crooked, from the accident. So I am certified unfit for IPPT. I half went 'Hurray' then stop to ask...'Is that good or bad?'

 

Because I am not keen on IPPT, but without IPPT, I cant do some things I really prefer to do. Note. There is no pay rise or promotion for me, even if I pass IPPT. I forego those rat race stuff long long time ago. I dont need to go up. I just want to move forward with more things to learn and do.

Wel, its a gd thing if u ask me.. Ippt is jus a testament of how well ur body can ensure pain im my opinion. Now u can skip the pain and not get scolded for it..

I bought some cheapo nail polishes recently. And friend experimented and painted some nails on me.

 

Somehow, I found skin bubbles today at the side of the middle finger nail and found its underneath, red, scaly and painful.

 

I think its Dermatitis reaction to the nail polish.

 

Now trying to keep that finger isolated with olive oil and a bandage. I hope it will heal proper. I need my hands for sewing and typing fast on the keyboard arguing with people.
