R u still on a lookout for classic muscle bikes ? a GL 1000is a tourer ,not really a muscle bike unlike the Mightly CBX1000 or the GS1000. Anyone keen on a meetup session ? I'm into vintage n classic bikes.Currently riding a 84' Kawk Topgun GPz900r and have a Hofa CB160 on laid up. Let's have some coffee session ,admire some old school bikes and help anyone out on bikes that can be recuse out of the junkyard. How's that ? I can be contacted thru' 91123575:goodluck:

haha, i used to ride this 25 yr old bike :cheeky:

touch and go, this was your bike....

... but the only thing that was left of what you rode is the 2 spokey wheels ... everything else is basically changed or modded (block has been re-bored, new cylinder)...

Its been totally disassembled to bare frame and rebuilt... btw damn lucky that you sold it to me, the frame under the seat had almost rotted through with rust... could have broken anytime. I had to strip it out and re-weld it. The 2T pump was also only half working... it broken before and stuck back with epoxy... wiring looked like maggi mee, I installed a new loom... fork, rear suspension, all change.

YOu might want to define how old you think "vintage" is. While there is a official classification, the term is used pretty loosely here.

vintage is really old... maybe 35yrs old and abv?

but it doesnt matter how the word is used...as long as we get what each other means

2002 - kips 150 FU****?

2004 - vespa sprint AR**4*T

2005 - honda cub c70 AZ*4*4M

2005 - yamaha X1 FZ***4M

2008 - honda fjs400 FBC***4E

I love the num 4..

There are several generations of CB750, for example... has been around since 1969, and now still can get 3 year old CB750... That's a 30+ year span...

Have to be more specific...

Oh yeah, he did also say "preferably", meaning not for sure...

hahaha.. ok.. u are right... :cheeky:

but just wondering if anyone would be really interested in the new version of CB750 in a "vintage bike" thread. but then again.. how many old CB750s are there left in sg.. personnally only seen 3 around in sg.. might be even more.... the CB550 are more common i guess.. maybe slightly less than 10 units running around..

I'm currently riding a 1976 CB750 F1 model. I got it 2 years ago.Only bikes that are 50 years and above will be considered as 'VINTAGE'. any bikes 30 years or more will be classfied as 'CLASSIC'. i know a few CBs riders. some 350 and 550.
