i did tuning after adding my scorpion. if u connect the tuning meter, u'll notice the tuning is a haywire after changing a new pipe.

 

But did your mechanic connect the tuning meter before the installation of the Scorpion?

coz tis shop i often patronise them..but also cant tink tat wat they say is always true also ma..only we as a user and bikers unite as one...

by e way, wat u guy tink tat which pipe most suit spec 1..

dun have most suitable or not lah.. see what you like lor.. sound is subjective. some pple like smooth, some like it rough.. fc and performance or most is +- the same.. price as long as suit your budget..

i just did my carbs tune at unique motors! they did a good job!!

u wan performance... i suggest scorpion end can with open baffle, hodaka ss header, performance air filter with carb setting plus aftermarket jet kit.

total damage was about $200. my main jet was still in gd condition! or else it will cost more! after servicing, i can feel that my bike was smoother and better response!

how happening iam not very sure... but there will be diff in response. my fren had his s4 done wif end can filter and jet kit. his s4 simply left all other s4 at my work place behind...

i test rode my fren's super 4 spec 2 with only endcan! buy install revtec and dynojet. it was so much different then my spec 3 stock condition!

wah.. why when i use scorpion dun have such offer..? somemore my DRZ also once used Scorpion..

 

anyways, it's really up to individual.. for me i changed from Micron endcan, upgrade to Micron full, then changed to Yoshi Tri, lastly back to Scorpion endcan..

 

i like all my exhausts, as all provided different experience..

for you guys out there, dun compare a full system against a endcan..

and also dun compare a baffleless st legal against one with baffle on..

 

most st legal endcans have a DB killer aka baffle. if removed, it'll become illegal exhaust and a straight thru endcan with no restriction.. IMO, Scorpion had the biggest core in diameter compared to Micron and Yoshi endcan.. it's just that the DB killer does its job good..

 

if you want a st legal endcan and ride with a peaceful mind, keep it in and intact..

 

i believe if you compare all st legal endcan with their original baffle intact, all will sound similar..

 

GPR got 2 sound restrictor, most took the cone out.

LV got a baffle, most cut it short or removed it.

Micron had a baffle too, most use a dummy one.

Scorpion had it too, some remove the plate blocking the air flow.

Yoshi is the only one without baffle, but some tried to mod the sliencer within.

 

do compare apple to apple, pear to pear..
