Morning guy.where u guy usually park ur bike when going to bugis street or sim lim square ?

 

For Sim Lim square, if you arriving via Jalan Besar road, you can park it at one of the streets towards the end of the Jalan Besar road, just before the Sim Lim Square junction. Its free there.

Sim Lim there got parking lot..just put 1 coupon..or rochor there hv HDB blk..ERP style parking..

Don't park on pavement ..not worth it..very hot area!!!

i seldom let cars eat me.. specially taxi.

i always arm my finger on my horn in case.

 

cos i always piss them off with my riding style. keep a very loooong gap if they come very close. i know they wont hit me, just annoyed enough to cut me once they have clearance. that's where they get my horn.

opp sim lim, park at "the verge", is free, multi storey, outside erp.

 

it's a short distance walk, but nothing beats the benefit it provide. if u want risk, park outside sls where all the bikes r, kena/saw a few times, they always like to summon there.

outside sls the open carpark is free after like 5pm, but it's crowded until like 8pm.

Got myself a new set of Battlax tyres. Feel abit wasted cos my rear tyre was used for only 4 months. But the front tyre was stock MRF tyre and I wanted to switch the entire set.

 

Does anyone want my old rear tyre? Duro 110/70. 4 months old only and threads are still very deep. Just pay me token sum can liao.

Saturday sure crowded. Last time I went was Friday afternoon also had to wait 45mins before a mech touched my bike.

Change brake shoe and adjust IU. Main thing was changing tyres.

hmmm ... yes it comes in pair .. so just get the H4 .. the extra can keep for your standby !! ...

 

not sure whether this fact is true or myths ....

 

when handling the H4 bulb .. do not touch the bulb glass with bare fingers cos the galss coating is very sensitive and happens if there is a finger print on it .. the bulb can spoilt easily!! ..

 

how true I do not know lah .. but when Ah Tek handling my NB .. he also knew about this and did mine with tender care ... seriously 2 thumbs up for him!!

maybe why 1 guy at the forum stated the NB can last only 6 months while the Indo guy can last over 1 yera ..

hmm bro as expected thecoil seems very long hehehee .. can ask them whether we can cut the cable short and use our stock plug head instead? ...

 

If I intend to get this, I intend to cut it and place a ground strip with insulation on the cable ... btw so is the red wire is your ground on the pic? .. sorry lah cos can't see the clip clearly hahaha

its true

try not to touch the glass area of the bulb with your fingers

as it will leave a layer of oil on the glass

which will cause the area to be slightly higher temp than the rest of the glass

thus bulb life will be shorter...

the red wire with the yellow round head is from the -ve of the coil to the chasis...

so can say is the ground...

the wire is longer than the v3

have to redirect

i am thinking is cause of the difference in the way of mounting the coil so the longer wire

 

as the mounting hole on the coil is slightly smaller

cannot use the old bolt from our stock coil

i bought slightly smaller screw from DIY shop to do it...

if want to use our stock bolt also can

but will scratch off the gold colour coating inside the mounting hole

and it is a super tight fit

 

i think the v3 with ground is cause there is only 1 connector so the grounding is from the wire

but here the -ve is the "ground" hence no ground strap...

 

btw they did mention that use carspeed for left and ultimate V3 for right
