yes, u need one.u can apply at the toll just after clearing MY customs. i think the min is RM10. if u drive, better put more amount cos theres another toll at Sungai Besi. anyway will sms u after i cleared MY customs around 5pm.

 

Think i will just go through woodlands. card cost seems to be 10RM and top up 10 RM. Might as well buy 5 liters petrol for that cost.

ahhhhh.. Everytime i went there to top up, there was no need for the touch-n-go ma? And last time I rode to KL, never needed to pay toll also.

But I'm waiting for the Riser supplier to reply for the AXO LED price and whether they do the UG3 Riser too.

 

The previous I posted on the AXO LED Hand Guard is the same supplier I got the Xado and Tora2 products.

is there any difference between UG2 and UG3 body frame forthe engine? .. cos 'm trying to finalise one of our guys here asking about side ferring for UG2.

 

In Indon UG 2 is not as popular as UG3 ...

 

this is the UG3 side ferring so I need to confirm so that it will be plug and play for both UG2 and UG3 ...

No, via TUAS all vehicles pay. Even bikes. I don't think the card is 10 RM. I think 10RM is card + top up value.

 

It's worth going by Tuas if it's closer to where you are. And the customs there are usually less crowded and its better designed than Woodlands - although recently they improved it too but it's still easier through Tuas. And from Tuas you can get to the highway right away.

Riding to KL on the pulsar. Is it free to go through Tuas as well?

 

As you stay in Sengkang, makes more sense to go by Woodlands, unless you are going during weekdays peak times.

I thought we could organize a trip to Malaysia this WE to get some A&W goodness in JB !

I'm ok to organize and come up with all the details and communication, but I need a show of hands to get attendance numbers.

 

We would leave in the morning, then cross the customs, ride a bit and stop at the A&W to have lunch. After that, we can take some scenic routes not too far and make our way back beginning of the afternoon. Or we can just go, pump, eat and come back if you prefer. More details on the program once I know who will be joining.

 

There are two A&W in JB: one on the east side, @ Permas Jaya shopping center, and one at the west side, @ Bukit Indah.

yeah. it is.

small scoot. not maxi scoots like my previous Sym Joyride and RV180.

got it mainly cos of the side boxes it came with, pretty neat looking.

 

on a side note, the FBB UG3 at bike shop still there. Darn, they are not willing to drop price anymore. hmmm......

 

if by this weekend, if my cruisers aren't taken, I might just dump the two of them with the shop and take the UG3.
