Bro, never trust your fuel indicator. For most pulsar180 UG3 our fuel indicator is not accurate after half tank.

For your case if you only top up 14 litres, high chances you still have 2-2.5 litres before you hit your reserve.

For me 1 full tank is at 16-17 litres (excluding reserve). Some of our bro did top up to 19 litres almost empty, right bro lindavw .

 

You should try to turn your fuel valve to ON instead of RES and test what amount is your full tank (exclude reserve). If your FC is 35km/l, your bike might hit 560-580km.

 

My full tank can hit 620-680km. Only once I hit 700 before reserve, that is 2nd top-up after run-in.

But after Cameron highland trip its on the low side at 620-630, ha ha ha... traveling speed went up to 80-90km. Now try to slow down back to 70-80km.

3. when the last time u check your filter?

4. the last time u change engine oil?

that's more of my fc seh.. wash carb? i guess they wash mine when i overhauled 2 mths ago. just change spark plug no diff. filter wad? i using ug2. got filter meh? engine oil is good. pick up aggressive a bit. and avg speed is around 80 on normal roads and 100 on expressway. does that cause my lower fc?

Hi bros and sis, would like to ask how much KM yr can travel with yr first tank of petrol ?? i only manage to get abt 490km and the petrol gauge shows no more bars of petrol already, and i go top up full tank abt 14 litres, is it normal or my p180 drink too much ???

now i just hit 2000km mileage and FC has been averaging 43km/L consistently.

depends on wat fuel u top up. drink too much? 490km is awesomely gd u know, i think. there was once i top up caltex 97 jb, went around 450km den it starts to cough ."whers my fuel ?!*cough" which means turning my reserves on. oh ya, the fuel meter is not acurate. i always ignore it. wherenever i top up, i reset the mileage button. dat way, i can estimate how much fuel i have left. n yah, the tank is arund 14 litres. check ur manuals?

first two service is mineral oil, the third service can use either fully or semi-syn.

Recommended to wash carb every 10,000km so as to change spark plug.

Filter.. have.. sponge filter.. u go check, open your left side cover and open the four bolts.

U’ll be able to see your BLACK sponge filter.. hehehe

To achieve a good FC of around 45km-50km/L, u must not exceed your RPM to more than 5k..

The higher the RPM u go.. to lower your FC drop lor…
