Good thing I went to ask and let them test, is actually not much difference with or without dB killer, just a bit more beefier sound and is still within exhaust noise spec in singapore, also some repo

Boss - can I check something with you. I am taking my Class 2A at SSDC now and since you took yours recently, I hope you can help me. If the lane is turning to one direction(assume left), then we can form two rows - correct? Then both rows must check back inwards or check back left?

 

I asked the SSDC instructor yesterday, but he didn't give me a clear answer. Normally SSDC instructors are helpful, but this guy very weird yesterday and my test is coming up soon. Thanks!

It's Sunday....maybe they are tired. Yeah usually they are very kind to clarify. See if you can catch Zaike and clarify with him.

 

 

 

1 turning arrow lane, form 2 rows.

 

Turning left lane - kerb on left, check inwards.

Turning right lane - check right, move off, check blind again.

 

 

Before going up slope, form 1 row and in the center of the lane to prevent cars from squeezing through.

 

Watch out @ the X-cross junction, bike waiting area before proceeding traffic cos often the truck do their reversing there. Traffic light change fast too. New tester sitting area. No tester at slope now for 2/2A.

manik: if left/right turn only lane 1st 2 bikes in front check left/right blind spot before moving off...all the rest behind will have to do safety check back then move off and before turning check left/right blind spot...if got stop line then have to 2nd row onwards is check back move fwd and stop...

Just finished my first 2A practical today.

Realised the CB400 not too comfy for my long legs.

 

Now maybe a TransAlps 400 might be a better choice. But pretty rare.

 

agree wif u abt the transalp 400. great enduro bike. saw 1 or 2 around my neighbourhood. one of my first 'loves'. singapore 400cc laws are limited n lousy compared to MY. their '2b' is 250cc and below which means once you got ur license, u can grab a 250cc and wack 120km/h and above(most 250cc bikes have 2 pistons and more than 2 valves i guess which makes it lesser vibration n less stress to the engine at high speed regardless their capacity limitations). their '2a' is 500cc n below. which means like enduro bikes, u can get a kawasaki KLE 500. sweet!!!

This is gonna be the bike I will get if I get my Class 2. Saw one next to me at Woodlands Road. My little Vespa so tiny next to it. It had H&B boxes all around.

So since touring bikes are pretty rare for Class 2A, might need to hold out till Class 2.

Either that or mod a CB400.

uncle mobile: if u do posses a touring bike. plse by all means, tour! either alone or in groups. it will be a waste if u dun, cos some folks in sg ride touring bikes only in sg just to get the feel for a short time and then changed to other bikes.
