Bring my dts 180 to universal tomorrow to change my speedometer. Have no idea why but it just gets cranky and now its will cost me 210bucks to get it replaced. damn. anyway, i was reading through the posts and its common knowledge that 180 can probably 50km/litre. so judging by the full tank of the bike, i should be able to go around 900km? but everytime after i pumped full tank my bike can only travel for max 550km. any reasons why?

Ride with care guys.

After riding without any incidents for so long, yesterday encountered a stupid pedestrian who almost ran and crashed into me from the left side.

It was at a yellow box, all cars stopped, a bus was at the left lane before the yellow box.

I was approaching from the right side of the bus so my left side was blinded by the bus. My speed should be around 20km/h.

As i was at the crossing the yellow box, suddenly in a split second, i heard slipper running sound(very fast piak piak piak .....) and this male pedestrian almost crashed into me from the left.

I was like wtf!

Luckily he stopped in time. If not I don't know what will happen. Phew!

Too bad my camera was not able to capture it due to view angle.

 

Btw, should he really crashed into me causing me to fall and injured, can claim him for banging into me? Lol?

Does happen rather frequently. It just need another reckless driver who drives like him to caused an accident.

a few questions first before jumping to conclusion that your bike is not fully utilized...

box set up?

daily loading on bike?

traveling speed?

normal or fast pick up?

servicing interval?

tire pressure?

braking habits?

 

for the 50km/l or more mileage, can be done...

travel constant at 50km/h-60km/h...slow pick up and no sudden braking...

should go see the story of a sg b bone riding up to thailand...

 

met a few riders at UM who tells me pulsar cannot go up to even KL...

my reply is pulsars have traveled from columbia to india,sg to thailand,sg to KL and now sg to Vietnam and still going...

the look on their faces is priceless...

its the rider and mentality that matters...

maybe i slow down the clip or pause to flash his license plate to all...

this is one of the reasons why bikers are being blamed for causing accidents and being dangerous...
