If not many participants then I will go ahead with my project first. Planning to redo my fenders and tail board for S4 and front areas and most plastics on my GTS200.

actually good idea .. especially to paint the exhaust for p180 series, pillion handle and foot rest holder etc ...

Today's retail therapy nearly got charged extra.

 

Agreed on price and as I wanted brown seats in the first place, all was settled.

When came to paying, he said my material cost more. I said no go. $60 means $60.

If the material cost more, he should have told me before hand and not after doing.

 

Gonna be last time I go there. Prefer HTH at least with them, I nail down the price before hand. So no stress.

Ok Thanks. but are you sure its illegal to remove chain guard? Many bikes dont have chain guard, how will inspection guy know if pulsar has it or not.

Actually I think, if a chain breaks then it is better not to have chain guard as the chain will just fall off and the bike will slow down. Imagine chain breaks when chain guard is on, it will get stuck and can cause the rear wheel to lock

I read from the xbhp forum that UG2/UG3 can put 120/80 size in rear, just need to cut the inside of the Chain guard. I am considering to change mine to 120/80 and just remove the chain guard altogether, hahhaah

its the other way round...

if the chain is moving and it snaps,the chain will fly because of the tension and the inertia...

the chain guard is there to protect the chain from flying into your rear wheel and causing it to lock and you crash...

wife can't sit or be pillion cos of safety reasons ... kekekeke

 

but this afternoon, my son told me he did not notice of the strap when i asked him if he felt uneasy sitting on it!! .. kekekeke

 

for the fabric i think i need to get an anti slip seat wrap to attach on it .... will do that next visit to um and redo my front and rear seat at juzzwheel.

It could also be if there is too much weight in the rear. Did you put something very heavy in your rear box?

 

i do put my lap top in but the same happen when i do not put anything in the box..

Good workmanship. Very patient guys and they were hammering the brackets and making custom ones so that it fits.. About 2 hours work time after half an hour of brainstorm. Thumbs up!! Nice humble mechanics.. Gotta go back adjust abit more though cause if I carry something huge like a backpack infront of me, the left side will touch nbk's knee.
