Riding an NS ?

In the P200, from the moment you see the petrol close-ish to the brim, you can still add 2-3L. That's because of the tank shape. It's very wide inside, and I think on the NS the side shape becomes wider at the top of the tank allowing more space. On the P200 there's a slight "step" at the bottom of the tank, allowing more fuel inside than your eyes can guess by looking at the external shape. Maybe for the NS it's the same ?

the stain looks like glue...

try using normal soap or detergent to wash 1st...

if not can try what sis o'ren suggested the visor cleaner or can even try using alcohol swap to clean...

i hv topped up my petrol twice, once after collecting, n another when i wanna go UM to ask them to check my fuel gauge. so the first time i filled 13ltrs. the 2nd time, i filled until i can see the petrol. then i tried to fill agn...wanna see how far up the petrol can go. i filled another 2ltrs, n yet the lvl seem to b the same. how come?

like i mention before there are a few possibilities...

maybe the main fuel sensor wiretree not connected or the float sensor is spoilt...

maybe you can come down tonight if possible so we can try to rule out the possibilities...

riding the P200. bcos of this, i cant exactly calculate my FC. cos the 2nd time i top up, i hv travelled ard 210 km, n i filled 6 ltrs. so cant b that bad right? think need to top up one more time to really see the full capacity of the tank.

bro...not talking abt the fuel indicator. cos that one most likely sensor fault n will b going to UM on of this days. everyday i call sure a lot of ppl. jus now i called, got 5 bikes waiting.

what i was talking abt is the capacity of the tank. how full is full? when i can see the petrol abt 3-5cm away from the hole, i can still fill in 2ltrs n yet the lvl remains the same.

It's what I said. I have a P200 as well, so no worries, it's normal, it's all about the shape of the tank: next time you're at UM and they take off the tank from one of the bikes, look at the tank shape from the bottom side and you'll get what I mean. :)

210km for 6L that's about 35km/L, you're in the right FC range, no worries to have..

O'ren...that reply was for Alvin. hehe. anyway yeah...understand the shape of the tank. was jus wondering when filling up.."when the hell is this tank gonna b full". hehe.

bro, i saw o'ren replied hence was referring to your sensor fault...

it might not be the sensor fault...

if its the connector not connected, you can connect yourself no need to make a trip down to UM...

hi, there are a few NS riders here yes, and also on our Facebook group (see my signature).

But no issues reported.

What issues have you read about ? Although I don't ride one myself (still on my P200), I've been reading everything I could find about it and asking questions to indian riders to clarify things + we have lots of experienced pulsars riders with us here who can give their opinion as well, so ask your questions ! :)

What are the things that worry you ?

Thanks! this is the list of problems one of the forum guys listed.

1. Carbuerator problem

2. high oil pressure problem

3. oil seal leakage

4. Gear shifting problem

5. Engine over heating problem

6. Radiator not functioning properly

7. Rear gear unusual sound

8. bad milaege

the guy also state that the guys at the service centre dont recommend the 200ns. I believe the forum is from india.

The problems listed by the forumers kinda kills my interest in buying the 200ns. So i wanna hear from local 200ns riders if they have any problems regarding the 200ns. (:

Heya Guys,

Nice to meet ya all. I'm currently waiting for my 200NS to come next week. Feeling excited and yet concerned with road safety for bike riders.

How do you guys deal with road safety, especially SG roads that's not so bike friendly?

To other 200NS bikers, how's the bike so far? Any reviews?
