But i've been reading posts on the singaporebikes.com and was first in love with roadwin..i die2 read the post to learn all about the bikes and the people...i was all set to go for roadwin

 

But then, i chance upon your thread...and the pulsar 200.. and omg... it was love at first sight.. haha complete bike conversion from roadwin to pulsar...

 

anyways...ive been reading from e first page..now only pg 7 =( but i cant tahan ready! you guys are fun sia.. and i confirm plus chop one wana get pulsar! latest by end of the year.. haha so do i count?? lol

Just came back from UM, change to P200 sidestand, $20. weld extra to current sidestand = $15, so, for 5bucks, get a new sidestand that serves the same purpose.

 

anyway, while waiting, i came across what i was looking for! Hella Supertone! and somemore only 50bucks! mustafa sells at 55, and then i think some forumers said that they are the made in indon ones. found these at some wulu car accessory shop. uncle tested for me to see. why see? cuz after standing too close, cannot f***ing hear. bloody loud. his wife shouted at him. haha. and it's the made in germany ones, both back and front stamped.

concentrate on your practical 1st. read more, know about what are the usual problem of each bike then take a look of those bike in real life first. a good photographer can deceive u.

 

anyway good luck and have fun learning.

i like pulsar for its fc and over all looks.. and ive seen it in real life.. the black one.. chio, my only upset with it is the headlights.. don't quite fancy it..

yes. pulsar mileage is quite godly partly due to the huge fuel tank also. haha.

 

anyway the headlight can be changed. couple of years ago, seen someone change it to the rxz type (rectangle head light). then our big brother GoofRider using those round headlight you see on super4 and spray matt black on the whole bike.

firstly, ns except for bmt and trainee life, usually cannot ride. after that go unit, should not be an issue for riding, but you will need to take up defensive riding (1 day course) and will be paid back to you after you show the cert to your unit.

 

as for keeping it till u are old, unless u are 100% sure, then go ahead. but at certain point of time, i think most young people would be sick of the power and at least like to experience upgrading to a bigger bike.

 

i was in your shoes before. thinking a 2b bike should be enough, considering that its faster than taking public. but now, i am craving for a 400cc power.

it's not yours only. most parents are. but then part of them will want their children to be happy and will support us.

 

anyway maybe your older siblings will ride class 2 bike next time and pass down their super4 (if they are riding 1) to u?

but i started reading this thread from pg 1, at pg 14 only now.. and all the useful infos i found(though not all), i copy and paste in a notepad...like frequently asked questions about the technical aspects of bikes, to where to get the parts + cost, insurance cost + company, mods recommendations etc...

 

so urmm, if you guys want it..for whoever is like me.. newbie and want to know more about bikes..u can just forward it to them..? it reduces alot of unnecessary questions i suppose...? though it still needs alot of refining.

 

just thought i'd contribute something.
