This morning before starting my bike, i had a look at engine oil level which i do every few days. To my surprise, the oil level is empty!!! Cant see any oil through the inspection window... Normally its between the upper and lower level, I just changed oil last week, recently never notice any oil leak before riding off... I parked on main stand overnight, so it cant be that the oil does not flow back to the reservoir right? For safety, i didn't ride to office this morning. I dunno now i should go buy and put in oil myself or tow to UM... For your kind advise... Thanks in advance!

Bro,first of all dont be offended of what i am going to say.Just sharing my personal experiences and thinking.I maybe wrong of course.

 

About science and hard facts makes sense,end of the day its the rider's overall feelings and thinking.I believe actions speak louder than words.Thats why i prefer letting people test the power abuser rather talk too much about the product.I can say until the cow come home and etc.End of the day its the feel,ask Lancer i believe he is quite doubtful of my product until he tried it himself.Why at first he dont feel the difference,my guess is that he doesnt accelerate as hard as some of us.Take for instance the other malay guy,the way he ride.when he came back he immediately says it got difference and mind you the distance he rode is much more shorter than Lancer.

 

-For the Feeling part of octane for me is true.

-Shell's petrol is good,tried any other brands?

-End of the day its up to the individual's riders requirements

Today I parked my bike at tampines mall carpark, for abt 10hrs. When I go down basement2 to collect my bike ard 10pm, I saw my precious bike dropped and was quite badly damage.

 

Thanks to some idiot who PUSH DOWN MY BIKE !!!!!

 

Damage: Handle bar bend, left footrest break, fairing head scratches, signal light spoilt, wiring sot and MOST JIALAT IS MY TANK WAS DENTED!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARGHHH

 

I was told by my friend that can request the security to view CCTV. tml i going down to request.

 

Anyway, thank God, I still can ride safely.. anyone can give any solution what to do next? tml UM open?

 

1) how to hit back the dent ?

Wiring may due to ur fuse... regarding the dent.... U need to approach UM for advise. if knock back.. need to respray....

Just asking, what if CCTV captures the whole scene, does it mean the case have to report to police (whether intentional or accidental) ?

Or you have reported that case to the police under mischief and damage to personal property?

Just curious of what we can do under such circumstances.

Can buy from any bikeshop lah. No need to buy stock ones from UM.

Anyway any idea how many litres of engine oil is pulsar 200 using? My mechanic use to fill up ard 1.2L of 4T.

If I remember correctly, that sounds correct. Check the manual lor.

That's old news bro. The front fork failure happened to some of the 1st batch of P200 in India which was subsequently recalled. The P200s being sold in SG now is from a later batch. That's y UM took quite some time to bring the P200 into SG after its launch in India.

At each side of the head assembly, u'll see a round rubber cap. Remove it and u'll see a screw inside the hole that holds the head assembly in place. U'll need size 10mm T-wrench or socket wrench to unscrew it. U'll also need to remove some screws under the head assembly.

Do you have a box on your bike? When you park on the mainstand which wheel is touching the floor? Front or Rear?

 

If your rear wheel is touching the floor when on mainstand, just start your bike, let it idle and warm up. When warm up, switch off your engine, while on mainstand pull the handle so that the front wheel touches the ground. Check your oil level at the same time. You should see oil now.

 

 

Thanks bro, yup... got box, rear wheel was touching floor. But too late bro. I went to buy oil and pour in myself. I poured in slowly till i see oil is between the 2 level, filled in 1/4 bottle. After riding for about 10km, i check again, and it was full! Meaning the whole oil inspection window is filled with oil. I wanted to drain out some oil myself but cant seem to be able to turn the nut. Any consequences if oil is over filled???

 

Next time i'll know how to check oil liao
