Safety tips:

Always STOP at the STOP LINE!

Don't rush. You're not racing for a record.

Always look in front, especially when trying to change lanes, the vehicle in front might jam brake.

Don't be easily offended, a**holes exists, mingling with them gets you sh*t.

Eh... wanted to ask...

Spray or sticker better? I'm going for custom made, not very big, just big enough for one side of the tank.

sian, just sent my pulsar for servicing cos the front brake was giving problems. like for no reason it would heat up and start to brake itself with no input at all =\ no wonder my fuel mileage so low.

anyone had this problem with their front brake b4? ):

i tink i'm gettin the gloves from the MO thread.. thx alot for all ur inputs.. heh.. :p

another question.. do u all use those kind of fuel additive to increase ur FC or wad? i saw one thread that sells the "mygreenoil" liquid additive or smtin lidat and also another that sells broquet balls.. have anyone of u used it before? is it reali useful?

btw i used to have smiliary 2 way alarm with 5km radius.. but seldom bring my alarm out.. as it is not bulky[like page size] and eat too much batt[roughly one mth one batt].. in the end sold it off..

anyway if u looking for a 2way alarm with good spec.. try looking for the LCD remote which is silm and small..

From what David at UM told me, off is when you're not using the bike for a period then you put to off.

I heard that broquet works generally, so far no pulsar review, but I heard it makes the fuel tank hotter due to some process. But so far my fuel tank is mostly cool when I grip it with my thighs. I still running in the engine, so wanna check out the fc first then try broquet.

Hehe when I get pay raise then I check out the alarm.

Its OK, our pulsar can hit 100km/h what. Normally trip with newbie the travelling speed will be lower (2b bike normally trip 80-110km/h, this trip 60-100km/h).

seriously this bike can travel comfortably btw 80-110 km/h ah? I ride it and anythin above 90 feels like the whole bike is gonna fall apart...

http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y192/brendanchin/balls_1.jpg

If you're riding a bike but not calculating the 50 possibilities in the 50 meters of road ahead of you, then you're dangerous and shouldnt be on one.

if i am not wrong is just to turn off the fuel supply.

i am using EP1.

for broquet balls, from the info provided, will not be much of a difference in the FC if i keep to using EP1.

curious about this mygreenoil also.

anyone use before?

ur fuel consumption also depends on your riding style.

Why all this confusion over petcock lever position? As far as mine goes, there's a small arrow stamped on the edge of the lever (facing me, the thin side). So, where it points, is what it is. :cheeky:

I've used "my green oil" before... but i tried on my car only... FC saving okok only... but the horse power increased is definetly not bad... u will feel the power when doing acceleration from low speed... for bike, i not too sure... maybe will buy n try when i go down carrefour again...

i feel that it is still quite ok to travel 90.. I travel to n fro bukit timah n changi everyday on average of about 93-95 during clear traffic... so far the bike is still quite stable... or maybe cos i very heavy???

what's your rear sprocket size? I was on 44T before and used to travel to boon lay daily. it'd start getting vibey 90 onwards, but that was cuz engine RPMs were above 8K.

Switched to 38T and now, smoothness till somewhat higher a speed than that. Downside is that I now do 4th gear for anything under 80. Feels like too much strain on the engine for 5th gear.

Smile! Tomorrow will be worse.

Ok la, maybe you have not test you bike limit yet. Before I went for my 1st long trip, 90-100km/h is my Max, felt like the bike is under a lot of stress.

But now even at 120+km/h (btw on NSH) is ok for me. During our cameron highland trip, at times we travel at 100-115 for over 30-45 min.

But of cause I'm not asking you to break your speed limit la :cheeky:. BTW my rear sproket is 39T.
