Saw some S4 installed the "bug head" flairing... Looks cool. Dunno can mod it to fix on my UG2 anot... Anybody here has any ideas???

shouldn't be a problem.. but sure need to put a new bracket. and maybe from the side view, your wiring might expose, make sure get a good mechanic to do it for you, those that know about wiring.. sekali u do, next day the bulb kaput

Consider S4. Even with Revo now, there's still resale market for ver S. Of course can't compare resale market for Pulsar with S4 lah. Point is, any 2nd hand bike will have value as long as there's a buyer out there, like Chaos and wjyx.

 

Of course UG2's selling price will be lower than UG3's. But so too will the cost price be rite? And a prospective buyer may consider the fact that the differences between UG2 & UG3 are just cosmetics lah. Performance-wise, no difference at all.

 

Just my 2 sen's worth. All UG3 owners, dun me

Only the newer batch of the VerS commands a higher resale value, why??

 

Because among the different S4s (comparing stock condition), VerS

 

1. is the only S4 fitted with brembo brakes from factory.

2. is one of the most fuel efficient among all S4.

3. price is very reasonable, got mine at 2.5k for a 55000km VerS

 

 

Comparing a UG2 to UG3 is like comparing a spec 2 with spec 3. Technically almost the same only more on cosmetic changes. If you compare spec 3 and verS the gap is even wider.

 

ug2 and ug3 price for 2nd hand is about 1k difference. Spec 2 and spec 3 is about 3k difference in price on the average.

 

Spec 3 and VerS is about 6k to 9k difference in price depending on the age of the spec 3 bike.

 

 

So with a small price difference the demand for UG3 will definitely be higher. So we cannot say that UG2 has totally no value, but we all know that if there are 2 person offering 2 bikes, one ug2 and one ug3 with a price difference of only 1k, it will be much easier to sell the ug3 due to its looks.

 

2 years down the road, the difference in ability of the bike to sell will be even more obvious.
