they still a column for them to put your test date.... from ntcu form i glance thru, they have point system.. like bike made, model, CC, year of registeration, your riding experience, your age... all this will somehow add up to calculate your insurance. plus u also will get NCD.. so good to build your NCD lah.

 

long time i ride a Bajaj Cheetak (vespa look a like), the model and brand they tick under 'others' column cos ntuc don't recognise the model back than.. so its cheaper.. my distance uncle work as ntuc agent at bedok.

This is a Second official trip open to all class of bikes in SBF. This is a good time to go and learn a few things (etc, riding exp, convey riding, build up confidence in ur bike... ) instead of staying in singapore.

 

Traveling speed is expected at 100km/h.

 

Professtional mech will be going along also.

 

PS: Dun worry about ur bike.. confirm can make it. on the day b4 the ride, we will gather and do a pre-ride check.

Dun buy cos it's obvious u can't afford it. Having a bike is supposed to give u a sense of freedom, not tied down by burden of debt. Ask urself, is having a bike a NEED, or is it just a WANT?

No effect on bike price, but definitely affect ur insurance premium bro.

 

Actually, not riding experience lah. It's how long u've passed. So, other things being equal, the insurance premium for a fella who passed on the same date as u but have not been riding (cos no bike or watever reason) will be the same as ur insurance premium.

No Claim Discount. If no claim is made against ur policy, u'll get a 10% discount on ur premium the next time u renew ur policy. 10% NCD for every yr of no-claim, up to 50%.

I need to noe whose UG3 has alarm being installed and r intending to install alarm.

Bcos UG3 as i encountered b4, if the engine is cranked b4 the digital meter finishes 1 rd the trip meter MAY sometimes reset automatically.

Hence i have integrated the current timer system into a smaller than half a lighter size black box which will delay the engine cranking if remote start is used.

This timer system is NOT definitely needed but i would say it is important to have it.

 

The first prototype is finally out and i need to see how many of u pple out there needs it as the IC im using is not avaliable outside except in my wkplace and will rush to finish all the needed pieces by end of this month if possible. Those bros that r proposing to have their alarm installed by me will also need to buy the timer system(TS), price will be confirmed once i fit everything into the first black box.

1 month WARRANTY will be give for the TS so no worries.

Hmmm..... as long as you can maintain the burden... you are free to get it...

 

consider this few point.

 

1) Yearly insurance and roadtax ( say.. estimate 100 for roadtax, insurance is about 300?)

2) monthly installment of say... 150...

3) monthly season parking of 15 buck (got increase or not ?)

4) monthly petrol monthly... ( say every week top of 30buck ?) (newbie sure travel alot)

5) put aside say.... 300 for modification and repair

 

If you feel comfortable and have preparation for about... feel free to go get a bike...

 

You dun have to really get pulsar. there is many type of bike that is in ur buget. Example... 500 buck can get a vespa (no installment )otr already... or best... get a kup (honda wave etc).

 

There is a huge reality between wants and needs.... at ur age, ur desire of wants is very strong, so just make sure u can support it.
