i wonder if you guys know this, but you can apply to have an rfid sticker pasted on your passport if you frequently enter malaysia? you wont have to fill in the white immigration form, and your passport wont be stamped.

 

pre requirements, two passport photos, RM30, fill a form, and enter malaysia at least 4 times in a month.

you guys should learn to do some basic maintenance for your bikes.

 

oil change, plug change, chain tensioning. these are all easy things to do. why you should do this?

 

buy your engine oil and plugs from LAB. i suggest you buy 8 bottles ($24) and one box of grade 8 NGK Plugs ($30 for 10x).

 

you'll also want to purchase a size 16 spanner with swivel head, an adjustable spanner and a plastic squeeze bottle.

 

when you hit the change point, drain the expanded eo. you can use this in your squeeze bottle as chain lube. while draining, change the plugs. they come to only 3 each when you buy a whole box. use the plug tool (screwdriver handle if you still have the standard toolkit) and turn it using your adjustable spanner. when the oil is drained, close it, and pour in new oil. voila, oil and plug change for $12, and less than 15 minutes.

oh yea. you can also lube and tighten the chain in less than 10 mins using just the standard toolkit. of course you need your own chain lube, something you'll already have if you follow the above.

 

and if anyone thinks i am bullshitting, im using this method to lube my chain for close to 3 years now, using the same chain it left the shop with.

for some reason i woke up dis morning feeling so pissed. the reason is bcos of UM. i wondered y cant they open up more shops dat could service bajaj? at least have some shops which are able to repair/service bajaj. dat way, we dun have to 'q' up. every time i nd to do some servicing, be it minor or major, i had to call them n ask whether if theres a lot of customers there. if there are, i wouldnt dare go, ESPCIALY ON. SATURDAYS!!!!!. everytime i went to other shops to ask whether if they can do some major servicing for bajaj, they will reply with the same anwers, " yes we can, but u need to get the parts from UM".

 

even while typing dis, i feel so damn pissed, i even pissed on my pants. hehehee.

its not going to be easy but seriously, UM needs to think abt dis b4 any customer gets mad n just goes beserk. hey, u never know right? anywaYZ, thanx for listening to my lame woes. peace!

the box comes with printed instructions on it =), relatively easy and all associated parts can be bought at slt, but you're right, install at bike shop lagi easiest, haha. hella = win! ppl will think you're a car, just a side note! some will feel "cheated" that it's a bike and not a car and become more aggressive. i kena before.....

This week is really unlucky. Met 4 drivers with poor road ethics. While I was traveling, the way all the 4 drivers change lane was to squeeze me out of the lane. Today the silly driver still dare to horn me when I swerve out and back into the lane to siam him.

 

Wondering is it the "P"plate that made these drivers feel like testing those who just obtained their license... I left the P plate on my bike is for safety purpose, but seems like inviting more trouble.

hehe, if you decide to go down the diy route, drop me a pm or something if you'd like recommendation on where/how to wire. esentially, use one of the existing horn wiring to trigger relay is all.

 

no la, now i mellow fellow, relak one corner liao, rarely use the horn, hehe.

 

make sure the white underwear big big, then throw on the bugger's windscreen, he kua boh have to jam brake! muaharharhar.
