Rear sprocket 37 is only meant for single rider with no pillion and rider must be average weight.

 

Under RPM will cause great stress to the gear and engine. please be caution.

.... u realised after sometime that we have done so much for the bike... end of day, all is nothing...

 

we might as well focus from modification to ENHANCE our bike. Enhance our bike to have better fuel consumption. better quality of air-filter and better pick up for smooth and safe riding....

for me, 70kmh is at around 5krpm but mine is the 4th gen model. yours surely can go faster one.

i think is bcos ur rear spocket is 42 or 44 teeths wan.. u can check on rear spocket for size.

as for EO.. this is related to the gear changing.. older ur EO, harder to change gear.. tt's is wad i experience for my bike.. so mayb diff bike diff exp.. ha.. so do check ur EO level!

still doing running in. now clocked 757km in a week. dis is wat i found out.

 

for p180 wif spocket front 15 rear 37:

riding at an ave speed of 75km/h, rpm 5k, 1 litre will get u 47km. i pump in jb, 16 litres at 757km. not even reserved. which means p180 has 19 litres of tank, 17litres for use, n 2 litres for reserved.

16 37 @ rpm 5k = speed 81km/h

17 37 @ rpm 5k = speed 86.1km/h

18 37 @ rpm 5k = speed 91.1km/h

 

15 37 average top speed @ rpm 8k = speed 121.5km/h

18 37 average top speed @ rpm 8k = speed 145.8km/h

 

P180 stock sprocket average best speed

18 39 @ rpm 8k = speed 138.3 km/h

 

.... just a theory on paper based on your above info

i think your teeth is the stock one

rear 44

maybe can change to lower teeth your rpm will not be that high

i think d gd fc is bcos i ride slow. i heard some ppl said dat if u wana save petrol, ride on d highway cos at 5th gear, u lessen d stress. however, if i ride like av 105-110-115km/h, d fc will surely drop. spoc setting 18-37? pick up will be a slightly worst. ive tried 16-38 n d trunk road, n it already feels sluggish even at full trotle.
