now i finally realise that something is wrong with my meter..

 

3 days after I changed engine oil the mileage reached 1.5k already. Thats too fast..

 

Tried to calculate just now. From Bedok to Pasir Ris i travelled 106km..

 

 

Like that servicing how much??

 

mayb u can ask the check. more likely they will change the whole meter part i think, not cheap.

uhm, how many digits are you reading? cuz the last "digit" is actually a decimal of km.

 

so if the meter displays 1500, it's 150km, 1501, 150.1km

 

if you take a look at it, the last digit will roll damned fast when you're travelling, for the trip meter la, the bottom resettable one.

 

at least that's what i can remember from my old pulsar.

 

ps: mine was the analog version.

 

edit: if your tripmeter is really showing 15000, at least on the analog ver, then yea, maybe there's something wrong with it already. heh heh.

the red light is your main tank low fuel indicator

it will light up if it detects low fuel in your main tank

seems like the parts being stolen are likely being used to fit other bikes

Thks for the advise. Currently fitted with fresh tyres after gotten the bike from private. Realise when i clutch in 1st gear with main stand, the rear tyre continue to turn. Not too sure izzit due to clutch housing wear and tear that cause the whirring sound at 5th gear. If it's due to gear box then die liao.. haha.. Haben had chance to go bike shop lately. Haiz.. But then, 800 bucks for overhaulling is way too much for small bike. What did u do then? What are the symptom before overhaulling?

 

clutch in first gear.. ur rear wheel will of cuz turn.. connected to engine n engine running ma.. ha.. u go higher gear the wheel will turn faster also.. haha.. but as for ur whirring sound.. u can listen to gaban and go UM check.. our bike no doubt overhaul is expensive but its good for ur long run..

 

hmm... by right when clutch in, ur gearbox(final drive) is disengaged fr e engine(primary drive) so ur rear tyre shouldn't turn... if it turn slowly in 1st gear oni i thk still managable cos can b control by brake, but if in highter gear oso occured den better check wif um.... veri dangerous

yeap .. i've the feelings one day it might happen since our bike are getting more and more popular here. It happens before with S4 and it won't be surprised if Pulsar are now being targeted.

The popularity of the bike plus hmm can-say expensive of the spare parts too will iniatilly corrupted one evil mind to have the idea of stealing and selling off to who ever needs too.

Even Jason at UM confirmed stated that in Philiphines the demand of pulsar spare parts are very high since they have a problem getting the parts and price are very very expensive ... I don't say who are the culprits here but when things are getting more popular but hard and very difficult to purchase, illegal doings are the evil option one has to take to make easy money.

 

Btw I happened to be at UM today and Jackie told me the bike Cookie mentioned just left before I arrived. Here is the picture of the front brake hose that the culprit cut before removing the front wheel.

 

Well regards of the alarm system installed, it's just an extra step of precaution to safe guard our precious bike and for the brake hose .. one option to make difficulty for the culprit to cut is to change to a steel braided hose ... I'm going down to Motoworld tmr to check on the steel braided hose that I intend to install before deciding to opt for the Spy 2 way Alarm cos of not enough cash on that day ..

I did changed my main jet to size 115 from 110 ... yesterday raining heavily so can't push hard to really feel for the actual power but pick up feel SUPERB ... like slicing banana during the heavy traffic heheheheh

 

FC at the end of the day once fuel reaches reserve will know the damage hehehehehe

 

Will be going to get the Sinnob Sprockets Gear soon to play around with all the POWER UP that have been installed by Cookie_Monster gadgets ... hahahahah
