I am planning to go to JB tomorrow to buy Tyres and rear box for my pulsar. Is Ah Boy JB the best shop? What is the cost of Bridgestone BT39 in JB? Or should I buy in Ah Boy SG?

first of all, welcome to the forum and the world of biking:angel:.

 

u will exp prob wen u get a bike along d way, however, dats a learning curve. ive used dis bike for almost 3 years had gone through S-H-I-T n still riding it.

 

so my point is, think dis through. however if u realy want to get a pulsar, den yes, i WILL recomend u cos the fc is pretty damn gd. get a 2nd hand or third hand if u want. bring someone who knows abt pulsar or any other bike along wif u. hope dis long and boring lecture helps. :angel:

wat gaban and me posted are just based on our Indon pulsarians experienced which most of them have tested using Dyno. And we are just sharing with you ...

 

you are the rider of your bike and you are the one who knows wat best for your bike ... but without trying we shall not know the difference.

yes bro, that's why I ask you to check for me ...

 

 

 

Andrion CMC 5A has low on pick up but high on top end speed while

Protec V3 has very good pick up but low at top end speed

 

Wat my friend told me is just to have a try on the coils if I want to have top end speed and sacrifies my pick up slightly.

 

He did also stated about R9 but it has a flaw ...

 

here is his emailed to me ...

 

"From the table we can see that protec ultimate v.3i with ground strap is outstanding at lower rpm range, which is what we need for brilliant acceleration. On top RPM range, protec produce adequate voltage.

If you like to go after tops, than maybe you should reconsider Andrion CMC 5A. It has brilliant tops, even higher than special engine's like YZ125 .

R9 (one of the famous brand producing exhaust) newest coils use progressive technology (like the one used in cars), the coils are attached directly to the sparkplugs, so there's no wire between them. This type of coils are really brilliant at lower rpm range, but unlucky for us that this coil cannot be plugged into pulsar right spark plug fitting.

That's about coils. "

 

 

regarding performance, the chart I posted before and here again shows the stats.... this stats are all claimed tested on Pulsar bike.

To know the truth, hmmm alternative is to TRY-IT and FEEL-IT ... hehehe

bro revhappy, i doubt theres any bridgestone bt39 aka battlax selling at JB..i assume u goin to ah gua lane..i doubt they have any battlax bro..even if they have also u only can see it on a race bike belongin to individual shops...they usually will place their winner race bike outside their shop..all the 125Zs and RXZs or what not..with all the nice done up fairings and battlax tyres intact. You can find Dunlop TT900 Thailand there though and also MAXIS tyres(heard quite good reviews by kap kia's)..but maxis dunno if got our pulsar size..DURO brand also there but dont know la your luck or things might have change(never been there for months already..hehe). Boxes wise i have not experience buying any from JB but from friends feedbacks..they are OKOK..well depends on wat rack n box u gettin..GIVI one of the best i guess. Ah Boy SG tyres so far i also never try buying frm there...but i heard they sellin second hand ones. The best bet IMHO is to get from reknown shops such as HKL or Unique Motorsports. The respective addresses can be found in the advertiser board in the forum. Good Luck bro!

i think at the end of the day is up to you on which bike you will want to get

but from us we will of course recommend you to get pulsar cos we ourselves have experience and know what a good bike this is

about going to army and getting a bike,

are you paying by installment or full payment?

if paying by installment might b a problem...

or maybe afte bmt then u get cos of abit mroe freedom...
