true bro.... there is no 100% free injury if you fall or direct inpact on hard surface....so no complain if singapore law requires you to wear psb approved hehehe ... not 100% but tested to sustain a certain amount of force or impact. Most important ride safe and be alert always be it full face, flip up or open face

No matter what helmet u wear it will break depend on the impact..but psb approved is the most saftest helmet that we can put our safety on it...i got see with my own eye at malaysia a guy self skid the helmet break into half..i donoe what brand it like old brand helmet..i help him...luckly nothing happen only he say headache only i check on him he is okay..but the bike front tyre bend n the fork...the front mash like hell...then one of them call ambulance...

Do what u want to do,do what u like, don't listen to what people said...u and your bike are bond together n become one heart..let the wind bring u let the gravity bring u..anything is possible it is only between u n ur bike...

haha its everything inclusive i think bo hua. most prob getting a second hand. depreciation value too high.. =( very sad.. but actually i realize pulsar got quite few problems leh. Like i've seen a few bros here posting bout engine overhaul. which cost bout 1k. and also the common cannot start prob where water enter oil tank. and the gear dropping prob. other den dat i'm not so worried ar. aIYO.. very stress. anw i havent get license ahha. but stressing le ahaha. but i cant find another bike like pulsar dat is a street bike with a sporty feel. and can put box. Apache too new.

most of the motor water enter the oil like krr all..so dont worry pulsar is a great bike...

15L including reserve?

i don't think so leh

rmb the manual putting 15L tank and 3.2L of usable reserve

can anyone confirm this?(on duty don't have access to my manual)

i would consider that i park under the hot sun for quite a period of time daily cos my camp parking no shelter

but when i left ytd nite to meet glzco, my bike is parked at my house covered car park for the whole afternoon

water slip into the tank?

how will this affect?

after topping in the petrol glzco bought my bike instantly can start and go liao...

1.. parking under the hot sun will eventually makes your fuel tank hotter and th fuel in it is pressurised. Happens if there is a leakage on your fuel tank cap, the gas will evaporates and escape though it.. your mileage will become lower due to the leakage.

2.. similar water will slip in if your fuel cap is not air tight ...

just my thoughts only.

this is because you pump at night time and the weather is cooler ... :thumb:

one of fuel economy tips is to top up during cold weather ... :thumb:

because the fuel is more denser during cold and since fuel are measured by volume, you get more fuel when pump when it's cold.

fabiano: i sure lose your p200 monster one la. so powerful ur bike. that day i tried it out in jb. it felt like a SP rather than pulsar la! machiam mini racing bike. haha. for those who have rode SP before u shud know the feel and all. haha. anyway fabiano u always spam posts one shot all. hahaha can do multi quote la. quote everyone and answer them in a single post. if not i see liao my eyes go @_@ hahaha super long sia!

when's next outing? i this 2 weeks full of birthday parties to attend sia. but i will still try. hahaha............

next to install is hand guard, rear hugger, stablizing bar.

anyway, FYI for those who wanna know about sprocket and tyres. they do make a difference to ur speed and rpm.

from my bike:

when i used stock sprocket (15-42) and stock MRF tyres.

RPM 6 = 75kmph

RPM 7 = 85kmph...

changed to 15-38 sprocket and stock MRF tyres

RPM 6 = 85kmph

RPM 7 = 98kmph

changed tyres to IRC and 15-38 sprockets still.

RPM 6 = 83 kmph

RPM 7 = 95 kmph

dropped sia.. so got more grip = more friction = less speed :(

I don't eat maggi lah ... but prata can.

Since you need to running in your bike so I guess Tampines too near for you, how about AMK tnite same time 9.30pm to 11pm?

The next morning I have something ON so need to go back early too. Tampines, you don't worry maybe the next mon or wed I go there.

Regarding your gear issue, drop by UM and make enquiry since you need the running in too.... oh yeah did they adjusted the gear pedal already?

lucky glzco came to my rescue with 3.7L of petrol

then after pumping in JB i can only squeeze in 12.010L

which means only 15.710L in total

anyone knows how come my bike died when there should be another about 3L of petrol left in the tank that is usable?

is it possible that when i added fork oil then my front of my bike now slightly abit higher that y the 3L can't feed in properly?

or is there any other reasons that you guys know of...

did u try choke? sometime it's cos of engine cold start, so after u travelled a short distance, it died off. i ever encounter once in jb trip with some guys if u still remember, i was left behind when my bike died off, lucky the rest waited 4 me n tried to find me, otherwise i'll be going back alone.

iirc, now all pulsar tank is only 15L+2L reserve, older tanks are 16L + 2L reserve, 1L diff. then adding the 1L that sink to the bottom, which is usually not counted. (not sure about p200)

another reason i ever encounter when u're low on fuel, if u hit some humps, air will go into ur pipe, so after some distance travelled, it'll die off cos of the air pocket.

in any case, confirm ur oil lever is in the right position, if unknown of oil status, switch to reserve, open up choke, around mid position, start ur bike. dont press ur electric start in 1 continous motion, start, rest a while, start and repeat, else u'll burn out ur starter. in this situation, kick start is the best. once started, leave choke hi for a while, then slowly adjust lower. let it warm up about 2min, rev a few time to make sure it's smooth, then ride off.

Accident can happen anytime, anywhere.

However ask yourself, do you want to fall at 120km/h or 60km/h?

there's a lot of tips to look out 4 in a 2nd hand bike, but if u go workshop, most of these things are taken care of by them, but then u got to pay a premium for their service. UM is trustworthy.
