Sinnob Gears work best if the chains are not using the extension clip, but to avoid complication during the installation , Sinnob decided to have our chain fixed with it.

 

Due to the clip, the Sinnob gears have to be aligned centered cun cun to prevent the clip from hitting the flanges and create a tocking sound when the wheels moved. Minimal touches is ok since after few clicks ride, the friction from the clip will create a space on the flanges and thus making the clip to run smoothly along the gears.

 

 

hmmm .. I'm not sure I understand, what's this clip thing ? Sorry I'm a bit lost here Should we do something particular to check the sprocket is well aligned, or is UM mechanic able to tell and deliver 100% flawless installation ?

 

 

Or................... I could have Jinxedman go and get his installed first, so he gets all the bad stuff happen to him, then I can go in no problems :angel::angel:

How much does the installation cost at UM ? is it where you got it installed ?

 

And I have a question about the chain: If I find a non O ring chain can i use it or do I have to use the Sinnob one ? Because I want a gold chain, and I think I'd better install the new sprocket with the chain I'm going to use. And maybe I can sell the sinnob chain I'm not using or keep it in case one day I have a chain problem. What do you think ?

im collecting my bike at um around 9-9.30am. so can meet at um around 9.30am? those from west can meet under SLE flyover around 10-10.15am. if it does rain, u have the option, of going or not to go. if we're on the way to jb and it rains, den well.... wat can i say, ride on!

any way to prevent tis?

 

those who got e sinnob set n rubber damper fr mj, remember to install together can save 1 labour cost..... jus fyi um charged $10-12 for installation
